Taken at Stykkishólmur (Iceland). I was watching the house so I spent my time looking outside the windows with my camera.
Visited an old factory full of huge workshop machines. I did not take my camera as I had no idea where I was going. I had to do something as there was just so much to capture!! It was a grab my camera extreme moment. so I used my phone camera which has only a 2mp camera in it. I was quite pleased and surprised with what I got, considering..., Next time, I will take my normal camera with me.
Loved this factory window backlit by the sun
Like a painted scroll, bamboo in the courtyard stands quietly, bathed in soft spring light, seen through the window frame.
Merryfield Park - WWII army base
We crept around, not sure if we were welcome, but fairly confident that the army generals were long gone.
I was fascinated by the reflections in this window - a mixture of linear, organised shapes and abstract blobs...
...fast too! This huge long thing was zipping its way down our window. I took a few rubbish photos on my phone (had to be quick!), then Tim opened the window and flung it out onto the grass below.
(We're getting this window replaced soon, so hopefully the putty won't be such a hot mess anymore.)
Had a good work day - nicely calm ahead of being on leave tomorrow. Tim was still off sick today, but feeling OK, and like he might just be able to rally for our weekend away.
the house where i'm curious - yellow (or at least the part when lena runs away to småland to get to know herself) is recorded.
Liked the wooden window frames - they lent a certain softness to the facade of the house...

Nails, that have rusted over last 37 years, these nails were in a front window frame, and had been painted over.
Still they cannot escape the rust from the salt air at the beach
I've been struggling all day looking for a post that satisfies me. This one is just almost ok-ish. meh-meter alert ;P
edit** this is a tiny storage shed in a county park
Since today's topic is through a window, I decided to photograph the view out of my bedroom window. To be honest, it's a view I've taken for granted over the years, and I had to move into a student flat in Cardiff to realise how much I appreciate this view.
Taken for OurDailyChallenge; "through a single window"

Музей деревянного зодчесетва.
The body colour is Tamiya Light Gunmetal, a pretty close match for the real car, I think. What a nightmare painting the black windowframes!
A photo taken of my friend, Trevor, reflecting on the views during our motorbike trip; a different perspective of the North rim of the Grand Canyon.
Window in derelict cottage I pass on the way to work. Overcast autumn day. Herefordshire. (Sony H1). I wish I could take credit for staging this, but that's just how it was (with a bit of darkroom magic, of course!)
Making these for an artist loft.
These are the outer frames which will house the (yet to be made) moving parts. these will be made with divided glass. 12 lights each opening about 10 x 10 glass size.
I'll post when those are made you'll see :)
