Making these for an artist loft.

These are the outer frames which will house the (yet to be made) moving parts. these will be made with divided glass. 12 lights each opening about 10 x 10 glass size.

I'll post when those are made you'll see :)

I 'innocently' shot this exterior barn window image while a police cruiser sat on the other side of the barn. I had been inside the barn shooting (which was clearly off limits as it was roped off) when the cruiser rolled up. Fortunately, I saw the cruiser through a broken slat in the barn wall. I quickly and calmly made my way out of the barn and acted like I was busy setting up a shot of this window. Once the cruiser left, I shot this image and went back inside to complete a few more images that I wanted to make.

The negative for this image was developed during a 'how to' session on black and white film development held by Voxphoto in October 2006.

Graham had this artpiece in his living room. I liked it, so I filmed it. It's just a lightbulb and a windowframe, but get this...the lightbulb is orange.

Just took a walk downtown today and veered off into an alley to actually check on something for work when I noticed these windows. I liked the way the industrial-type light was shining through and the old antenna reflection. The black and white matched the already gray day. So goes day 2 of my 365 project.

These blind windowframes or aedicules represent Michelangelo's last thought on those architectural features. He plays with classical forms in a way that seems to prefigure the baroque.

The ironic thing about my house is that all the natural wood (doorframes, windowframes, baseboards, fireplaces, bannisters, staircases, floorboards...you get the idea) has at least 10 layers of paint on it. The only thing that looks like wood is the cheapo paneling in the kitchen.
