When a husband is sick, a wife's care becomes the strongest medicine.
Feel better soon, Lovebug.

When LEGO produced set 40448 based on a user's design which used binoculars this "illegal" way, you'd think LEGO would have fixed the mold instead of changing the design to not expose this flaw?
Just a random click. Shot and processed my first roll of Cinestill 800 film. Tough film to expose and scan. Will take some time to adjust.
After 6 months , i'm resuming the "when it rains" series , The heavy rain season started a couple on Wednesday . I know I haven't been around much lately , it's been very hectic but fortunately i'll have more time in a couple of days .
When I arrived to the Newcastle Golf course I was greeted by a Wiley Coyote!! Then when I arrived to the parking lot and shook hands with a friend, a Peregrine Falcon swoops down right in front of us!! Crazy right? Welcome to Issaquah I guess.
Anyways, the sunset was pretty confusing. Our plan was to shoot the Olympics behind Seattle. But instead we opted to shoot these four tall trees with the red sun setting behind.
You don't always get what you want. But what Ive learned is, take a few minutes and assess the scene and situation and you never know what composition you might find.
Overall I had a great time with some awesome local photographers!!

"" Walking up the hill tonight
And you have closed your eyes
I wish I didn't have to make
All those mistakes and be wise
Please try to be patient
And know that I'm still learning
I'm sorry that you have to see
The strength inside me burning
Where are you my angel now
Don't you see me crying?
And I know that you can't do it all
But you can't say I'm not trying
I'm on my knees in front of him
But he doesn't seem to see me
But all his troubles on his mind
He's looking right through me
And I'm letting myself down
By satisfying you
And I wish that you could see
That I have my troubles too
Looking at you sleeping
I'm with the man I love
I'm sitting here weeping
While the hours pass so slow
And I know that in the morning
I'll have to let you go
And you'll be just a man
Once I used to know
And for these past few days
Someone I don't recognize
This isn't all my fault
When will you realize
Looking at you leaving, I'm looking for a sign..""..... (Marketa Irglova )

Quand j'était adolescent je vivait à Saint-Cyprien(etchemins) un ville au Québec à coté du Maine et j'avais des énormes antennes sur mon radio pour essayer de pogner une station du Maine(105,1)
When i was an adolescent, i was living in a small town in Québec, next to the Maine state(usa) and i was using big antennas to get a fm station in Maine(105,1). I think Stephen King is a big fan of this radio station.
When I opened this chartreuse decck umbrella, three anoles became aware of the presence of one another, each previously tucked privately within different folds of the pleated shade. Two were larger males and one was smaller, which I judged to be female...the larger male on top of the umbrella did not chase her away, the usual action reserved for other males. The male on the umbrella pole is positioning himself to avoid confrontation with the other large male...probably a mutual feeling after a cool night and low energy levels. They have not had breakfast!

When it's too hot to suck in the gut, you just let it all hang out. This was the sight that met my eyes outside my window.

A shot of short Dart 42559 SN05DSV, a very well worked and careworn member of the First Kernow fleet.
For years, these were largely found on the Falmouth area locals and a few other routes around Camborne but this one is covering for an errant new e200 when seen climbing out of Fowey.
When jetlag kicks in and waking up earlier than desired what are you suppose to do? taking pictures of course :)
I am no different to any other woman when it comes to the pursuit of perfection, that elusive goal of looking as good as you possibly can. Not saying it has been achieved here but wow do I feel good about myself in this dress, make up and hair style.
When I took this shot in September 2012 I could never have guessed that I was looking down on what in less than nine months would become my home.
What a place to wake up every morning...I may never go on holiday again!
I am reading the new book "Digital Capture After Dark" by Amanda Quintenz-Fiedler and Philipp Scholz Rittermann. The book intrigues me again on the night photography.
But I am born to be a lazy photographer. I do not want to go to the remote or exotic places for night photography. I do not shoot RAW and I do not use a lot of post-production techniques as suggested by the writers. I don't even use DSLR for night shooting as everyone said compact camera has too much noise in the small sensor.
Anyways I just walk in the back alley in my neighbourhood and shoot in JPEG. I am just too lazy to fiddle around the white balance and therefore shoot in the B&W mode in-camera.
My photo club friends always tease me as crazy guy that associates photography with philosophy. Yes there is the philosophy that inspires you to see the beauty in mundane subjects and I believe there is a special charisma of night too. When the night falls, you can see some sort of special beauty even in a back alley.
Do you think so?
Happy weekend!

As the days become longer, there's a couple of minutes every evening when a sharp sunset ray, reflected off the windows of the residential block close by, pierces across our sitting-room. Sometimes highlighting very interesting objects in its way.

When Elmer's wife, Elsie, suggested they build an access to their home so they didn't have to row the boat back and forth to town, Elmer told Elsie she was in charge. He'll never make that mistake again!
