When we visited the tyrranulet nest at Estero Llano Grande State Park, we also found out that a tree nearby housed TWO Eastern Screech-Owls. OMG, two at once? You couldn't really see or photograph both of them at the same time, but I have noted in one shot where you can barely the other.

The lighting was terrible at mid day but who doesn't love seeing owls any time of the day.

It was delightful to witness the clouds parting and the morning sunshine breaking through after a prior day of clouds and precipitation.. The lingering thin layer of snow from the storm enhanced the breathtaking beauty of the redrock formations within Arches National Park.

Dublin is, for a capital, a very ‘cozy’ city.

A busy center, much visited, lots of history and fun.

Of course, as it is the home of Guinness , with a visit to the brewery, and then all the souvenir shops…

Anything you can think of with Guinness.

The hats are a a big favourite!

The Temple Bar is A FAMOUS pub, much frequented.

Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)

"And I will call upon your name,

And keep my eyes above the waves,

When oceans rise,

My soul will rest in your embrace,

For I am yours and you are mine."

When I was eight years old I made such a fuss over the fact that my sister got a new Easter dress every year and I wore the same old boys suit. I was so persistent that Mom finally got me my first Easter dress with shoes, anklet socks petticoat, a little purse and bonnet. On Saturday morning I went with her and my sister to the salon and I let them curl my long hair. I stayed in that dress all Easter weekend and knew it was something special that I would do again. The girls got over the initial shock of me in a dress and I had a ball at the Easter egg hunt and found the most eggs!

When I was a child, I had a tin ferris wheel that I loved. This reminds me of it.

While he was at rest, something strange happened. A sprout began to form at the top of his back and in his time of meditation he became consumed by something of nature. He was in the confines of his home, but it still somehow was able to creep into his pores. The mushroom spore locked into his skin and began to spread throughout his body. His time here was very short as the decomposition process began.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!!!

When I was at Joshua Tree National Park, I brought along my 1953 Contax IIa rangefinder with a Carl Zeiss 50mm Sonnar mounted on it. It was a match made in heaven. I had a blast shooting with a roll of Cinestill 50D. Here 's one of the shots.

Film: Cinestill 50D

Camera: Contax IIa

Lens: Carl Zeiss Opton Sonnar 50mm F1.5

When you are documenting something this good, you are willing to work extra hours.

my heart lifts and I dream

It's always a good night for photos when you find your best friend dead in a car park.

Wasn't too sure wether I liked this or not, but thought I might as well put it up as it's not often you find a dead body. What do you think, Keep it or loose it?
