The relationship between a brother and a sister can be a troubled one. Daisy letting her brother know how she felt.
For Flickr Friday group. This weeks theme "Pets."
Everything was fine. No blood was spilled or fur lost. Just a little rough and tumble. I wasn't sure who decided was the boss when it was all over.

Just a simple little teaser for my Spartan-Verse Catwoman figure. Her design is a little simple, and I'm going for a COMPLETELY different approach on this figure. In other news, Scarecrow is coming slowly along, I actually started working on Batman *Applause!*, and I'm waiting for a lot of bigfigs (to customize) to come in the mail. Thanks for looking! :)
P.S. if all goes well, I should be uploading picture of the finished figure tonight.
When feeling a little sad or under the weather the best pick me up, for me, is a nice long walk and to breathe in that great fresh air!

When you are documenting something this good, you are willing to work extra hours.

Remember, when you used to tell me that you would see couples holding hands, walking together, hand-in-hand and seeing that you missed me so much that you would cry... that tears would roll down your beautiful cheeks?
And I would always go quiet when you told me that, remember?
It's because I always knew how you felt. I knew exactly how you felt. Because I felt the same. I just didn't tell it to you, or expressed, for I did not want to cause more heartache for either one of us.
Just know that whatever you felt, I felt it a hundred times more.
I would never let go of your hands, know this, my love. I would always love you and walk tall when you would walk beside me.
I would always love you.
When going to any zoo sea lions are one of the most active of any mammals I ever see so after hours of swimming around a well earned nap is in order.
(Dang it all, how did I get another video on its side?) I am 6 foot 1 1/4 inches in my stocking feet ( I prefer "in my hose feet" ) and have always been deathly afraid of towering above the maddening crowds when in public, hence part of my great fear of going out. You see I also love heels, even small ones! This video is a break through for me in more ways than one, you see this is my very first time actually in public and close enough to be seen and interact with people! More on this great day and event later! But for now, I somehow got the courage to walk into a grocery store. Do you recall that first time, it seems that you steel your nerves and then some sort of auto pilot takes over....and in you go! In any event the moment I went in I grabbed a grocery cart and off I went! Within a few seconds I noticed a tall very attractive blond GG. She was tall in the attractive sense to me, not tall in the freaky, could play in the NBA sense. I said to myself, I have to find out just how badly I must stand out, being now 6'1 1/4" with another 2 inches of heels. So I headed off for this pretty blond with the sole intention of somehow standing next to her and getting a visual comparison of what a monster I surely was! Much, much, much to my surprise, as you can see in the video, she was almost exactly my height! ........ Wait a minute, if I think she is quite attractive and of a normal, albeit not short, size.....then can it be true, do I not stand out in a public place as some gigantic freak of nature causing everyone to immediately turn and stare at the amazon woman, or worse, at the bride of king long! ( Say, Do I talk to much in these little essays? Does anyone besides Toni Richards or NikiLynn read this far? -giggle) in any event, I was stunned upon review of this video that this attractive blond MILF in the produce section was almost exactly my height (even with my heels on)! This may be old hat to many of you, but for those of us 6 got and above, it was a stunning revelation to me that I could go out in public and not stick out as some oddity or freak! What an awakening! I will wait for another day to discuss how I looked and felt otherwise. I notice that the blond in the produce section gave me a hard look as I walked away! Was I read, did I look at all passable, what was she thinking? This was such an exciting emotive day for me that I have no recollection or feel for how I was! I know I have a long way to go, but this was one incredible day for shy little reticent Bobbi!
When Billy Durney of Hometown Bar-B-Que teamed up with Julian Cavin of Greenberg’s bagels to make this pastrami bacon egg and cheese collab that was amazing and sold out fast!

Applaud me - I played a group today. ;-)
Just kidding. I mean...yes, I played, but no, don't congratulate me for doing something that 90% of the good Flickrite community is doing...haha.
For anyone who is lost, this is Grimm's The Frog Prince, and I'd love to chide anyone who IS lost, but Disney and the suckers in storytelling ruined the classic long ago.
What I want to know is where that kiss deal came from.....she didn't kiss the dang frog, people. *sigh*
Literature gets corrupted just like the rest of us I guess.... :-)
So, I had a much better day today, for those of you who care.
I even visited a few streams. *applauds self yet again*
Ahhh...soon all will be right with the world. ;-)
I'm gonna go assist the better half with making tacos.
Hope everyone has a fabulous evening. xo
Random fact du jour: I am no princess. I'm more like....the crude little sidekick to the princess that slips her vodka and inappropriate underwear.
. . . post another oldie! Opportunities for new pix have been scarce, but hopefully that will change soon. Hope everyone is enjoying the advent of autumn!
Willow: ... I'm going to be Storm, the X-Man.
Me: Don't you mean X-Woman?
Willow: No, it's X-Man even if it's a woman I'm sure.
Me: You mean X-Men then. Not man. It's a group name.
Willow: .... When I grow up, I'm going to be Storm and cast lightning bolts on meanies and sunshine on not meanies.
Willow had a way to make me see sense...

For the theme "When I Grow Up" in the Blythe a Day group.
Further announcements push us further from any sign of normality the first lockdown meant sharing with people who don’t usually live with me that halted all of this. Things started to shift and allow me time to be me (including work when I know Zoom is not on my schedule) although not enough time for make up nails etc. Opportunities are re appearing as per fully days and hopefully have a few ideas of things old and new for the coming months unless of course the virus has other ideas. Stay well💋
Alright. Last post today, I promise. I just loooooooooove this head! Glam? Natural? Tribal? she does it all!

" When I Fall In Love
Edward Heyman / Victor Young
Interpretation: Nat King Cole - 1957
www.youtube.com/watch?v=h649I7ETaHI
When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many moon light kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun
When I give my heart
It will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment
I can feel that
You feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you
And the moment
I can feel that
You feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you"
Looking south as the sun goes down over the Étang de Thau. This picture is taken from the town of Bouzigues.
This photo was taken just before sunset and was exposed for the highlights, leaving the rest of the image underexposed. I created four versions and manually adjusted the exposures of each copy and merged them to create an HDR image. Flash was used to illuminate the foreground rocks.

Received an interesting piece of Fan Mail a few weeks ago. With questions about what do I do when I'm not storm chasing. The author wrote, "Since you live in Nebraska & you only focus on severe weather. Do you ever do any other type of photography & videography?"
As a matter of fact I do. (This is the first time I'm ever posting this type of photography content to Flickr). I'm really in all aspects of nature. But the scenic views is what I come for. Took a few weeks off at the end of September to do a bucket list item (get to the top of Pikes Peak). Also to visit my sister & brother that live here & enjoy some quality family time with them.
Colorado Springs has some epic views. It was also one of the reasons I took our family's early fall vacation to this area of the US. The seasonal foliage was just starting & the aspens were already turning their fall colors. Those Epic Views is what I was after!
Booked our family tickets to the Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway. The Cog has been climbing Pikes Peak since 1891. It was one of the most unique experiences that I've have ever done. This place is recognized as the world's highest cog railroad, The railway is an important part of the heritage of the Western United States.
So to the Individual that had wrote me that Fan Mail. Here is your answer. I know I don't post anything but severe weather, however I wanted to give a small sample what other photography interests that I have & do.
BTW, I & my wife got Altitude Sickness something gnarly. Took a bit to get over after the event but it was worth every second! Plus it snowed the next weekend on top of Pikes Peak.

It's always a good night for photos when you find your best friend dead in a car park.
Wasn't too sure wether I liked this or not, but thought I might as well put it up as it's not often you find a dead body. What do you think, Keep it or loose it?
When looking at the American bison the best description is simply "Massive". We observed two large males appear to resolve a territory dispute with a stare down. Eventually one decided the best decision was to move on. In the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota.

I had the pleasure of hosting David Talley and Triston Lane at my house in San Diego this weekend. I took them to some of my favorite photo beaches down here for some unforgettable adventures. All in all there was little sleeping and a lot of exploring.
This particular photo day was a little hectic...amazingly we managed to squeeze in three separately directed shoots in the span of 30 minutes before the sun completely disappeared. We dragged about 30 lbs of gear and props down a cliff to get to the beach to boot.
I was the last to shoot my photo, but I'm happy it ended up that way. I had about 10 minutes to light candles and shoot before I ran out of light. We hiked back up the cliff, exhausted and sweaty, in near darkness. It was so worth it. :)

When I photographed these attractive circular patterns I assumed they were a type of algae and, I suppose, in a way they are as I later discovered that they’re actually a species of crustose brown seaweed called Ralfsia verrucosa. Not surprisingly the patches start forming from the centre growing outwards in rings and, if they don’t become detached, can reach up to 100mm diameter if conditions are right. They can be found pretty much worldwide growing in intertidal rockpools, and in some countries are commonly known as ‘limpet paint’ due to a mutualistic relationship they have with that species. Here they’re in the company of periwinkles.
