My grandaughter Delaney and my son-in-law. I love these two...they have such a special bond. Reminds me of how my hubby was when our girls were little.(not that their bond isn't still strong as father/daughter) The song I'm posting is Gary Allen..Tough little boys. The song is wonderful, and the video is so moving, Esp. if you have a loved one in the military. Even if you watch it without the sound...it will warm your heart.
This Small White came to rest on the least expected support : an old rattan chair under the veranda !
...my mother had this green dish containing bits of jewellery, including a necklace of crystal beads, on her dressing table. Her brush, comb and mirror matched the dish and sat on mats that she called a cheval set. My favourite item though, was a crystal perfume bottle. I can still bring the scent of it to mind.
I used to sit and admire myself in the three way mirrors, adjusting them so that many reflections of myself were revealed. A bit narcisisstic but I've grown out of that!

Like the whole world around her, she embrassed the american culture as her own. Her favorite dish is a cheeseburger with bacon. Her favorite singer is James Brown, Steve Wonder being a close second. She even liked the movie Independance Day, or at least the beginning. But still, one week after, she still can't believe Trump was elected president.
The George Formby song springs to mind!
“Now I go cleanin' windows to earn an honest bob
For a nosy parker it's an interestin' job
Now it's a job that just suits me
A window cleaner you would be
If you can see what I can see
When I'm cleanin' windows”

When this guy came out of the burrow he was actually facing toward the open field behind him, so I stopped looking and in an instant he turned and took on an entirely different demeanor, gave me this look which i thought was a really ticked off look, there behavior is amazing, there antics and the ability to do this is remarkable, anyway have a great day and thank you for the visit.
Taken amongst the flower beds surrounding Wallington Hall, late bloomers await the sun to join the display.
A lone backpack and cardboard mat with a large "Corn Flakes" box on the opposing side define some poor soul's home for the night. Yet the church, warm and comfortable, sits there all locked up hoping God is looking the other way. Maybe "Where the Doors are Locked" would be better.

When Edwin Lascelles started building Harewood House in 1759 he wanted nothing but the best for his new home. He employed the finest craftsmen of the time: York-born architect John Carr, fashionable interior designer Robert Adam, England’s greatest furniture maker Thomas Chippendale and visionary landscape gardener Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.

Oh Flickr sharpening, how I hate you. Oh well, today was just a really great day. I got my first paycheck, bringing me one step closer to getting a new camera! Then I spent a few hours outside trying out a bunch of concepts, and making the flower crown thing I'm wearing in this photo. Some guy awkwardly walked by me while I was wearing it, I just smiled and said hello. :)

When approaching this majestic auditorium, I was immediately captivated by the purity of its lines. My intention was to transcend mere architectural documentation to reveal the poetic essence of this structure. By isolating this particular curve and working in black and white, I sought to create a tension between the immensity of the structure and the delicacy of its form. The deliberately minimalist composition allows the eye to focus on the dialogue between shadow and light, transforming this architectural feat into an almost celestial abstraction. I waited for the moment when natural light would perfectly sculpt this bright line on the building's surface, creating a dramatic contrast that elevates the sensuality of the curve.
