Keep a safe distance and keep the doggies on a leash to have a good time viewing these massive wild reptiles.
When visiting south Texas take care as alligators do thrive in country areas. We have a couple living in the lake by our house. Our neighbors had a massive one in their pond that had to be removed for obvious reasons.

How privileged I felt to be welcomed back to my favourite beach. She knew... oh she knew alright how much I loved seeing her again.. I do believe she loved seeing me too and this was her welcome to me and yes I am only a visitor but I love her so much and I miss her......
My grandad was a fireman on the trains and him and grandma spent much of their time in St Ives, maybe that how come I feel a spiritual relationship with this place...you never know ;)

When I got up to the fireweed, I found them to be alive with thousands of bees buzzing around the flowers.
We had hiked for about 2.5h to get to this spot, the Cascade Amphitheater would open up just past those trees in the distance.

The upper floor and ceiling at the grand entrance hall of the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
This part of the museum is the original, and was built 1837-1843, designed by George Basevi. The museum has seen many later additions, the latest in 2004 and when I visited the museum I entered through its more modern facilities, which did not make quite the same impact and I had to traverse more or less the whole museum to get to this vantage-point. But then again, it is a museum well worth traversing, because there is quite a lot to see on the way.

When it became dark enough, and the camera settings were sensitive enough, light was getting picked up on the sea stacks. I couldn't tell if it was all moonlight, or whether there was a component of light from the town of La Push.
When I said I wanted to paint my beautiful girl, Nick changed her clothes and posed on the couch. Well, the kitten stood still while I painted *lol*
Explanation:
