When the light changes all the colors are different...

Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as "Upper Antelope Canyon" or "The Crack"; and "Antelope Canyon" or "The Corkscrew".

As Cleo has arthrosis she has to take two pills every day. Cleo and I have reached an agreement: she allows me to put the pills directly into her mouth without shredding my fingers and in return she gets some treats. This generally works very well but it only works with me. When my sister had to give her the pills once several adhesive bandages were required afterwards.

When traveling up the Pacific Coast Highway late last summer with my west coast damsel, we stopped in the small lovely city of Morro Bay in San Luis Obispo County founded in 1870. This lovely marina, the strong cobalt cast in the sky and the small formations in the background caught my eye. This harbor like many on right off Pacific Coast byway was full of harbor seals, just sitting out in the sun.

Birds puff up their feathers to trap heat next to their body, or to dry out after a bath. They also fluff up their feathers when they are stressed or sick. Or while they are preening. And males may fluff up a bit when they are doing their courtship dancing...This one was seen Early morning on a TV Aerial ..

When you visit this town you see plenty of pig statues everywhere. The locals believe that the name Schweinfurt came from a long time ago when wild pigs crossed the river. Some historians do not think this is correct but it is a good folklore story and it still continues today.

When giants still roam the earth

when we stayed at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City for my daughter's wedding...

The Queensboro Bridge, officially named the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, is a cantilever bridge over the East River in New York City.

The NYATCW was in operation at what was then known as No. 401 Vernon Avenue in Long Island City, from 1886 until 1968. Of the forty-eight major terra cotta manufacturers in the United States, it was the only such plant situated in New York City. The NYATCW supplied architectural terra cotta for projects throughout the United States and Canada. Materials supplied from this location were used in constructing more than 2,000 buildings. Among the company’s most prominent contracts included Carnegie Hall and the Ansonia Hotel. Terra cotta became popular as a building material in the United States beginning in the 1870s and enjoyed a long tenure due to its flexibility, versatility, and durability.

When we visited the Grand Canyon earlier this year, we experienced a couple snow storms. The canyon rim was a bit treacherous at times but it was still beautiful.

When out looking for the Hermit Warbler, this gem dropped by. It was eagerly searching all the trees for food

When the night comes for many animals, it’s time to hide and rest.and they should ...because in the same time an army of hunters able to see and act in the dark open their eyes.

and this giant verreaux eagle owl (bubo lacteus) ,the biggest owl of africa, seems to say "good morning" to the incoming night.

When I received these Cloisonné chopsticks as a gift many years ago, I thought they were quite lovely. It was only when I started taking photographs with my macro lens that I realized the minute changes in color on each flower and leaf. Perhaps we should all have magnifying glasses handy so we can really appreciate the smaller things in life.

When i was walking in our beautifull holland i saw this buzzard on a branch, he was not afraid at all and i could get really close to it. which gave me this awesome result :D

"After months of rain and solitude in the hub of Meguro, I decided to go to Italy. Now I'm wandering through the stony streets and squares, it's almost autumn. The light gets mellower, the air smells of wilted flowers. The waiter says, love and beauty are both vulnerable. Love can die from its wounds, but the angels change appearance and go on shining, keepers of beauty."

My friend Danko was inspired by this image and wrote his impressions without ever knowing where it was taken. (Amandola, Italy)

I love trying to get air shots with my digital slr. See cats really can fly!

January 2021. Early morning overlooking San Francisco Bay.

When the clouds lingered on the distant horizon, it was time to grab my camera and tripod, then make for the rocks at Snickett Park. Upon arrival, I clambered about eventually finding a crevasse for the foreground. While I was awkwardly perched, a man stammered up on my left. I thought, "oh, here we go". He leaned in showing me an iPhone shot he had taken of me. "The wild taking photos of the wild", he blustered. And, considering the strong smell of alcohol, it was good a lit match was not present.

Then a family came close and a young lady introduced herself as Penny, and asked a few questions. The show of colors had begun so I remained but answered. They were visiting from England and were enjoying a holiday. I offered my site as reference so she could find spots of interest along the Sunshine Coast.

Nice to meet you Penny.

Prince & The Revolution „When doves cry“

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG3VcCAlUgE

Dig if you will the picture

Of you and I engaged in a kiss

The sweat of your body covers me

Can you my darling

Can you picture this?

Dream if you can a courtyard

An ocean of violets in bloom

Animals strike curious poses

They feel the heat

The heat between me and you

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world that′s so cold? (So cold)

Maybe I'm just too demanding

Maybe I′m just like my father too bold

Maybe you're just like my mother

She's never satisfied (She′s never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

Touch if you will my stomach

Feel how it trembles inside

You′ve got the butterflies all tied up

Don't make me chase you

Even doves have pride

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world so cold? (World so cold)

Maybe I′m just too demanding

Maybe I'm just like my father too bold

Maybe you′re just like my mother

She's never satisfied (She′s never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

How can you just leave me standing?

Alone in a world that's so cold? (A world that's so cold)

Maybe I′m just too demanding (Maybe, maybe I′m like my father)

Maybe I'm just like my father too bold (Ya know he′s too bold)

Maybe you're just like my mother (Maybe you′re just like my mother)

She's never satisfied (She′s never, never satisfied)

Why do we scream at each other (Why do we scream, why)

This is what it sounds like

When doves cry

When doves cry (Doves cry, doves cry)

When doves cry (Doves cry, doves cry)

Don't cry (Don't Cry)

When doves cry

When doves cry

When doves cry

Don′t cry

Darling don′t cry

Don't cry

Don′t cry

Don't don′t cry

Have a nice day :-)

When a few flowers died in each of two bunches of flowers I was given, I merged them together and think the colours go well.

Day 17 post-op yesterday and I took a walk down the road, with Ray and 2 crutches for company (although I can now manage fine with 1 indoors) my target being to the local church and back. It was slow, the traffic a bit noisy to somebody unaccustomed to walking out but there is a handy seat near the church.

Once home, Ray checked the distance and found I had walked just over half a mile - well pleased!

when i slow down, it's easier to choose kindness, patience, and understanding. when i pay attention, it's easier to work from love not fear. in this moment, there's no urgency—there's time to pause, breathe, and be.

garden, but I never liked them. Now when I found them in an abandoned garden I loved them.
