Not me!! My friend expecting her third, I have been taking photos of her bump over the last 10 weeks. Can't wait to meet little baby girl soon!!
This is my Journey picture. It is a picture of my arm with my LOVE tattoo on the wrist. I am a recovering cutter, I use to cut myself, self-injury. You can see some light scars toward the bottom of the picture. The tattoo is a year old, symbolizing my new journey in life to get better.
I took this with my iPhone, not my regular camera because the moment just hit me for this picture and I had to take it then or chicken out.
Week Sixteen: As you see the caption, this is the last time i used our tripod :'( i want to do more long exposures :(( wanted to practice some landscaping :)) still the debate is on, what tripod to replace? benro? or manfrotto, tell me :))

Catching up with catches. The prequel..
A flipping huge catch last Monday night, apologies for being a week behind but time seems to run away with me during peak moth season with photos to take, edit and then the list to type up.
This catch was just prior to the previous post about the fantastic night's trapping on the farm.
For my garden this amount of moths was brilliant with loads of new moths for the year list.
Best of all there were two new species for my garden, namely Epiblema costipunctana, a fairly common Tortrix moth that I use to catch on the farm regularly.
The other was Eana incanana, another good species and one i've trapped before on the farm also. Not content with one, I trapped another on Friday night!
Happy mothing everyone!

Finals week; mystery basket. Two proteins you MUST use, and then a basket full of fruit and veg. No recipes, no cookbooks, just your own knowledge + a copy of the Flavour Bible. Pannacotta with asiago crisp.
Week 2
So as promised, here it is! week 2.
This is a picture I’ve always wanted to do, ever since I got my flash. I never have well… because I’m lazy and, “later” always seems to run away from me. Well later, take that I’ve finally caught up to you. Lots of time on your hands does that to a girl. I’m pretty pleased…. it’s basically how I thought it would turn out. Though the me with the hair down could have looked a little more like I was trying… eh oh well.
So the whole idea with this is fighting yourself… everyone has internal battles I’m sure of it. It could be as simple as what you want to wear (like my favorite jacket in the photo), what you want to eat, where you want to go to school, or what friends you want around. Life is full of tough decisions and those choices make us who we are. Never regret something you’ve done because it’s what makes you who you are and what you know. You learn through success and mistakes, it’s all important and it’s what keeps us always changing and growing. Experience.
Well that was a bit off topic :) ~Enjoy!

‘Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house, not a creature was stiring,
Not even a penguin.
And you thought I could go an entire year without a picture of a penguin!!

I should mourn the loss of one of my favorite 80's people with my weekly shot. But there's enough coverage...no one needs mine. Instead I will celebrate the magic of Kuma's Corner. I've been spending too much time there lately. Last night we were there for 3 or 4 hours of drinking, eating, and hanging outside. Kuma's and Jacko don't mix...but we know who is cooler in the end.
