I am Joyce. I have one younger brother. I live in Mechelen - Belgium with my parents. This is between Brussels and Antwerp. I go to school of course and I choose to follow plants and animals and environmentstudy! My most important hobby is horseriding and jogging I like also very much. This was my very first shoot, I've never done before but I'm happy I've done it. My best friend Kelly is also a model and she talked me into this haha... I am very happy with the results, I hope the viewers from Rudi are hapy to... See you!!!
7DOS, Week #47 - A Week With … my coffee mug, Minimal Sunday (not a big fan of minimalism as I tend to miss the point, but thought I'd give it a go this week in an effort to get back into the swing of things photographic).

I made a slight tweak to this composite of my storytelling project this morning as my contribution to the final project of 52 weeks of 2015. It was, by far, my favourite project this year and I will get around to printing this out for my house soon.

Snowblind
Spring is on it's way , the warmth of the sun is welcoming but the way it reflects on the snow is somewhat blinding. We have a lot of melting to do yet but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
I have been late on the smoke challenge and finally go around to taking a picture of some on the landscape.

9) I always make people riding in my car put on their seatbelt. Not because I'm bossy, I just feel very strongly about it, and there is definitely a reason for that.

I tried a bunch of different things for this week's picture, but it was getting frustrating so I just went with this. So, sorry for all the green as usual, and Skye's same old pose, as usual.
Since I live away from everything, this is where I always walk the dogs, which is part of where I live. It's very boring but hey, at least there is somewhere around they can be walked and let off-leash without having to worry about cars.
Skye has the (bad-but-cute) habit of jumping up on every bench there is on this little park-thing. As well as a chess table. And as well as the picnic-type table they have there. It's a good thing no one is ever around, since she's always on top of where people are supposed to eat. ha.
There is also a small enclosed area with a pool. Dogs are obviously not allowed.. so of course she'd find a small gap in the gate and everytime I take her there, she squeezes herself in and keeps happily walking around in there. I can't go in there to get her, since the gate's always locked and I can't really crawl in as well, and Skye has terrible recall, so basically I just have to sit and wait for when she decides it's time to get out. little brat. I'm always afraid I'm gonna end up getting a fine because of her :P
Now, of course, I could just keep her on a leash and keep the bratty dog with bad recall out of trouble... or better yet, actually teach the bratty dog some manners... but where's the fun in that?

WW2 Maunsell Sea Forts
The seven towers of Red Sands were placed approximately six miles off Minster, Isle of Sheppey, over the period July 23rd to September 3rd 1943.
The forts were designed to house various gun installations to combat the twin threats of enemy aircraft and E-boats. The original armament consisted of two 4.5" guns mounted on the main decks, four Lewis machine guns and two Bofors 40mm guns on the upper deck with the central tower supporting a radar scanner dish.
Spent my Saturday evening at Reculver Towers near Herne Bay in Kent. Good conditions for star trails despite there being a 3/4 moon.
This image is compiled from 86 shots of 30s @ F4 at ISO 400. Processed through the excellent StarStaX with slight adjustments in PS.
Week 44
Holaa. well here it is... fall leaves. Their time with us is so short, it makes me sad. I wish I could have gotten more pictures of all the fabulous trees but alas I got but a few and this one ended up being the favorite. Mostly because there were no cars or buildings in the background (difficult to come by in the city). I love the vivid reds and yellows that appear over night and are gone all too soon.
I remember my first fall in Washington... We had this huge tree outside our house with thousands of little leaves. By the time they fell to the ground they were filled with color, but also different patterns. Circles and stripes, purple and red. As a child, they were beautiful works of art and I did my best to collect as many as I could. I had never seen anything like it before and was completely mesmerized by the leaves. Next time I get annoyed that they are all over my car I'll try not to take fall leaves for granted ;)
To be honest I wish I knew what kind of tree it was... It really was soooooo cool. This picture doesn't do fall justice at all. In fact it kinda looks like week 15 www.flickr.com/photos/jpipkin/7105323335/in/set-721576305...
