week 3/52
the perils of forgetting your camera...forgive the phone pictures, i'll have something better for next week :)
Here is an attempt at capturing the waves spirit moving the camera horizontally while taking the picture. Not that this group needs it, but Discussions contains ideas and examples.
Thanks to Brenda for taking over for me with the last challenge; Interesting and educative as she always has been.
32 weeks preggers. Taken a couple weeks ago (before the sickies set in) ... I'm 34 weeks now. :)
I do *not* do well on the other side of the lens ... totally awkward subject. You'd think I'd know what to do and be able to act natural, but nope - I totally freeze up. LOL! I much prefer to hide behind the camera. :)
Just returned home from 2 incredible weeks in Peru. It's going to be a long process going through all of my photos and I will likely be posting them pretty slowly. Here is one I took at the new water fountain park in Lima.
Theme Of The Week - DIY Effects
My parents have a red cut glass serving bowl. This is what it looks like when the sun shines through it.
Week 4's topic is "Bottle".
This is Isle of Harris Gin, the wife's favourite and mine too even though I'm a whiskey man!
It took a lot of work this one and I'm 99% happy with it I have to say and so hope you are too.
Standard London Red Telephone Box...
Im early with this again! but i have a busy weekend ahead so i thought, post it now as i was proud of my editing skills here! with my wacom bamboo (named Brian), i didn't get along with it before (hence the names as its "not the messiah hes a very naughty boy")and now im getting used to it, but i will continue to call it Brian!
Anyways, week 10, wow! i was in London this week (kinda obvious) and got to see Russell Howard's good news being filmed live (<3333) but a nice wander around London, i fall in love with it more each time (i could handle living there :)).
Taken at Palouse Falls, WA
I'm a bit behind on uploads. I have a few weeks worth of photos on my hard drive and a couple rolls of film I still have to develop. Will be uploading throughout the week!
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Last friday a good friend and I were on a photoshoot somewhere near a lake in the mountains. We ended up with numb feet standing in the cristal clear and freezing water. It was really great to finally shoot in a small stream ;) I want to live near a river!!

XI Week 20 14-21/5/20
Here are the intruments of my isolation. Really these pieces of wood are what I've been playing with every day for the past few months. More soon.
52 Weeks of 2019
Week No. 52: Camera Toss / Kinetic Photography
Category: Technical and Totally Creative!
Christmas lights on the floor and a free swinging and spinning camera above.
Happy New year folks!
Mike and I went for a stroll over the other side of town along the Wairoa River for the fortnightly challenge and found a few interesting spots to stop at. It is always funny how you think there is nothing to photograph until you actually look.
What would you do if you had to cope with exams, with tons and tons of information when your head is somewhere else?
You're sitting in that white and dull room, the only entretainment is the window, you would spend hours looking at that frame that links you to reality by looking to those ugly buildings and the people living their lifes.
More pages? What the hell? I keep using post-its, taking white sheets and making childish doodles in the frames of the papers while I chew a strawberry gum. The hours keep passing, and yet, everything goes so slow. More information, understand, process, saved. Understand, process, saved...as if I was a robot.
Too much knowledge for a teen mind and not enough freedom for this agitated soul!
Juicing I took this with some weak sidelight using black poster board as a background and brown butcher paper on the table. After cropping and auto tone I used kk_darklight then tweaked the exposure and saturation. I tried other presets but this is the only one that worked for me.
XI Week 09 27/2-5/3/20
Took this while in Mackay. We were at a lookout point and up above was this sea hawk? (not 100% sure). The magnificent bird was flying up high, really wish I had my 70-200mm F2.8 with me. Instead this will have to do... thank goodness for megapixels. More soon.
XI Week 12 19-26/3/20
First week in lockdown, social distancing and isolation. Lucky the introvert in me is loving this me time. More soon.
