Had a mid week outing yesterday. I went to visit my friend Alice to catch up for a natter, Had a really nice time although I did leave early du to having a long busy day at work. Mustn't grumble it pays the bills.

The weather had been rubbish all day so I opted for a more sensible outfit. Jeans always seem to be the fall back item when its cold windy and wet but did stay girlie with the blouse and floral top.

We will see how this out changes in the following pics

52 weeks of 2023 Experimenting with colour

Didn't enjoy this one, and messed up the photos a bit, but this was the least bad.

My mother's first camera (recently found in a trunk that she had forgotten all about) and some photos of a forgotten time in rural Newfoundland that were taken with it in 1956-57.

Hi everyone I'm nine weeks old.

today makes the halfway point and we finally find out tomorrow if our expecting baby is a boy or girl.

Will keep you posted : )

2 lights here. One gridded small SB camera right and a gridded sb-28 behind Nadia for a little rim. Triggered with cybersyncs.

UPDATE:

It's going to be a little princess for us. daddy's little girl.

Drove by this graffitti wall and had to stop last Monday. We were with a friend and just went for a run, thus the smiley, happy face, which I don't get all the time...she really is a poser but I loved this relaxed look. When I downloaded to computer on Monday, I knew this was the shot I would use, but I have been sick for much of the week and then pushed myself to compete with Mess in a NADAC trial this weekend and now 11pm to download to flickr so not to miss the week!!!!

Week 9 (v 11.0) - and keep it coming

I couldn't believe my luck when we discovered this chair during our walk on the beach this morning. The dull cloudy day made it seem even more broken.

vietnam - the sun doesn't always shine on holidays!

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

One A Week in 2020 -- The seed is a little weather beaten but given our recent rain it is not too bad.

Hawkward. Mostly I really like my new dress and wanted to wear it. I went to lunch with Ben before this and almost froze my face off. I probably should have cropped out the houses. Oh, well.

tell me something about my future

I'm officially starting a 52 weeks project.

I chose this week to be the first one because

1. my last year of school started on monday

and 2. my birthday was on thursday.

I'm quite excited for this project as the following year will be full of changes.

I had this idea in my head for quite some time and now I finally realized it. this is a book my parents discovered in their little store after they named me 'Rona'. it's something special as Rona is no common name, at least not here in Germany. I wanted to use it for pictures in forever, but I never knew how.

hours and hours and hours of editing. because I only have one book of them. ^^

I posted the picture with the original book cover in the comments, the one I used is one of my latest uploads.

I've been challenged with 52 weeks. This is week 1. Can I switch this 365 (that I started in 2012...ooops) to the 52 weeks challenge?

Wow....made it, just barely!!

My favorite wine I originally chose because I loved the label and the name, Apothic Red. Now they've come out with a new blend and imagine, I only found it this week, just in time for week two. It's perfect.

Mind you, the photo, technically, is not.....not enough time, too much in a hurry. It was the perfect candidate for a texture, which I did for the Outtake just to see.

K.....must go and crack it open now. :)

August 15-21 2010

Maybe you can afford to wait.

Maybe for you there's a tommorow.

Maybe for you there's one thousand tommorows,or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in, roll around in it, let it slide like coins through your fingers. So much time you can waste it.

But for some of us there's only today. And the truth is, you never really know.

Before I Fall - Lauren Oliver

(SOOC) Honestly, I don't know how this looks like on the computer, because my screen darkens pictures, and messes up the quality. so, i may have to reupload this one. This is a few days late due to the fact that i wasn't home at all this week. My brother's modeling for me here, I think I'm going to use him more in my photos.

Rain, rain...Go away.

It has been a crazy couple weeks for me at work and I haven't got to pull my camera out like I usually do. I also haven't been able to sleep like I normally do, relax like I normally do, clean my house and do normal things like I do...You get it, it's been hectic...Thankfully, this project keeps me a little grounded, even if it is on the last day before the deadline. I've missed thumbing through everyone's fabulous shots for the past couple weeks, but hopefully things will go back to normal.

Week 38 (v 8.0) - your privacy game is weak

Unbelievable to think it's already the last day of Roid Week – my favourite time of year on Flickr. Check it out if you haven't already, there's some amazing work in the pool!

This is one of the series of 4x5 Polaroids I shot for VANISHED CITY: LONDON'S LOST NEIGHBOURHOODS – a beautiful book published by Strange Attractor Press, written by Tom Bolton, who also wrote London's Lost Rivers. It's one of the colour pictures in the book, and also one of the free postcards you can get if you order from the publishers!

The new year is here and I still have some vacations days left until I have to start working again.
