It's amazing what detail there is in waves.

Waves taken in realy windy clod poor conditions at Fraserburgh North Breakwater 08/02/17 Aberdeenshire,

Portreath is a great spot to watch the waves smash in on a stormy day. The monkey hut on the front provides a good composition!

I recently went to Cape Disappointment to shoot the lighthouse with waves crashing below, but I've shot that several times before and decided to focus on just the waves instead

The green waves now follow the green wall.

This is the second photo from the Rolling Hills location in Moravia, Czech Republic.

At the same time, this is my absolute favorite photo from the entire tour. If I had returned home after three days with just this photo, I would have been completely satisfied (of course I'm still happy that that's not the case).

This picture shows a slightly wider view of the hills behind the line of trees. Because of this, and because of the more intense "light and shadow play", it has a completely different dynamic than the version I showed you last week.

My wish as a photographer is to create at least one photo every month, which I really like. With this photo here, I have definitely achieved this target for April.

Not here you won't! They were definitely big enough, but much too rocky on the shoreline. This was taken at Cape Spear two days after a pretty big wind storm

Different perspective as the waves were coming towards us while Trisha and me were talking photos at the beach at Llandanwg.

The sun's rays penetrate the early morning sky as waves break against the rocks on Hutchinson Island near Stuart, Florida. See this, and more, on my website at tom-claud.pixels.com.

Another wave ready to hit the beach.

Last wave befor the night

My first year teaching, I was standing outside at recess when an eagle flew over, quite low. A young boy that I taught said, "You have to wave to the eagle for good luck. My Dad told me. Wave!" This boy's Dad was in jail and he himself had not had a lucky time of things. I think about him often and I always wave to eagles when I see them. I hope he has had lots of eagles in his life since.

A short timelapse from Winnats Pass this morning.

It was a much needed respite for my weary soul to be down on the beach watching the waves crash in. It reminds me that the Lord's love is infinite, it keeps washing over me as the waves continue to crash onto the beach day after day.

Thanks a lot for visiting, favs and comments !

I've shot this same perspective so many times before, but with the constantly changing conditions of the lake and sky, it never gets old and the image is always just a bit different than the last!
