By shooting this shot vertical I was able to leave out part of the pier that would have been distracting to the image. The winds were WICKED this day. If I let go of my tripod it would blow over.

Zanpa Point in Yomitan, Okinawa, Japan imediately following typhoon Muifa. It was so humid and warm after the storm passed that it took my lense 45 minutes to acclimate, and I was beggining to worry that the moisture was inside the lense and not just on it.
