The 'storm that should have been' raised some good waves without much damage.

It reached 39 degrees Celsius in Perth today (that's 102 Fahrenheit).

I was under a cloud, but out in the distance you can see where the sun was hitting the water. Made a cool effect, much like you'll get in the Caribbean.

seeing as it was so calm while I stood there, or so I thought, I was not expecting the water to come up to my feet.

 

I was going to video longer but after the wave touched my toes I decided to climb back up... just in time apparently because when i looked back the rock I had been standing on was then emerged under continuous waves.

Breaking wave at Fingal Head, NSW.

This set is from my 1st venture to the beach with my D-80. I tried a lot of different things, but wasn't really happy with any of them. These few were the best of the worst.
