Not the biggest wave I've photographed at Porthcawl Lighthouse, but I thought what little sunlight there was caught this one very nicely.

Some stunning wave action off the coast of Fuerteventura after a couple of rather windy days

Took it at Laguna Beach Southern Orange county 在橙縣南邊的Laguna Beach 拍到的驚濤拍打礁石的鏡頭(Have a nice weekend)

I usually post my wave photos in batches of three, so right on cue, here it is.

Oh, and by the way, this is not a black and white photo with selective colour, just a full colour image on a very grey day.

Aberdeen Beach

Macro shot of a swan feather with the beautiful down tops waving to the mirror.

I placed it in the harsh light and this is the outcome !!

Enlarge and feel the drops!

Or not, I don't sail but I like to watch waves.

In die Raffinerie bei Nacht "hineingezoomt" ..........

Waves really do something with my within

I never get tired of watching them

Feeling the power

Hearing the roar

Seeing the spray

Nature really rocks

And as I am making this photo ready for upload Mark says about us: "We are in a love wave, a tsunami of love"

And I was wondering if he actually was standing in my livingroom and saw that I was about to write about waves

To be so connected is such a thrill

He had no idea that his words suited my photo so well

And he is so true

This love we share is out of this world

Nobody can ever ruin this bond

"We left under moonlight

We went with the breeze

I bet on your blue eyes

You set for my green

We moved with the water

The tumble and sway

The slow dance gets harder

As level shorelines fade

So now I'm out drifting away

What can I say

You're barely listening, asleep in

The shade of tidal waves

Someone throw a lifeline

I don't want to drown

I can't hold you closer without just sinking down

Once I'm safe from the deep you're the waves at my feet that just keep pulling me out

By the power of the moonlight, when the tide comes around..."

Fancy lookup in Amsterdam

Aberystwyth is a small sea-side resort in the county of Ceredigion on the west coast of Wales.

Although a thriving sea-side town in the summer, the historic town of Aberystwyth is better known as a university town and the centre of learning for Wales, as it is also home to the National Library of Wales and boasts the largest Arts Centre in Wales.

Taken at Long Beach Island a couple months ago

A wave fighting to break through from its egg shell like wrapping in an agitated sea.

Crashing waves in Lentas beach, south Crete

and no, and I will not swim out to find gold, this is lucky enough...

Still going out, in a 50 year storm! Santa Cruz, CA. U.S.

Brighton Beach located in Brooklyn, New York

Wave after wave

Will flow with the tide

And bury the world as it does

Tide after tide

Will flow and recede

Leaving life to go on

As it was......

Sunrise at the coast.

The common White Wave female moth (Cabera pusaria) resting on a grass quite conspicuously. These are nocturnal moths flying at night but could be easily disturbed from low vegetation during the daylight. This female specimen didn’t mind basking in the morning sun.
