The common White Wave female moth (Cabera pusaria) resting on a grass quite conspicuously. These are nocturnal moths flying at night but could be easily disturbed from low vegetation during the daylight. This female specimen didn’t mind basking in the morning sun. I guess you can't tour Western Australia without going to Wave Rock. A lot of people had told us to be prepared to be underwhelmed. I think they were wrong, it was definitely worth the long drive to see it.

Lake Michigan wave action, unlike these "gentle waves" on a clear day, can become treacherous for small boaters.

Back home with the head full of impressions.

Waves are so wonderful. If I had the sea near by my side it would be another passion from me to photograph waves in all their beauty. They are so emotional as humans, so merciless, wild, but also gentle, smooth and sweet. What a passion and luck to live at the sea!
