Wave crashing unto Colywell Bay. My poor poliriser probably won't survive from salty sea water. At least I have got nice wave.

I thought i'd start the New Year by posting some photos from a trip to Coventry in 2021. All the images are different perspectives, compositions and processing on 'The Wave', an indoor waterpark in the city centre.
I was able to shot this wave in Cape Ortegal. There was red alert on the sea, with waves from 8 to 9 meters. That rocks are about 10 or 12 meters tall, so I think the water column was close to 20 meters in the air. I was lucky enough to capture this moment of rough seas :)
So Tracy got in touch, did I fancy a couple of hours at Porthcawl to catch a few photos of the whooshy waves. High tide was going to be good, she said....
Off we went mid afternoon...we had a great time photographing these great waves, lots of other silly people photographers there too. We had a wander around took lots and lots of photos, had a rest stop in a pub then went back to the car.....trying to get to the car was an experience I'll not want to do again in a hurry, we were being blown by winds so severe I had to grab Tracy (she's only little) before she was blown away, the sea spray was horrendous...we got in the car, the car was rocking and getting bombarded by waves......all set, key in, turn over, nothing !!
Tracys car was dead - luckily Tracy is with the AA, they came out in about half hour. Nothing could be done, too dangerous, he said - he kindly took us to the nearest train station. Trains were delayed too due to points failure, but luckily we didn't have to wait long. We got a train to Cardiff, then a bus to where I live - Tracy's husband picked her up from my village - what an adventure we had, think I got in about 8 o'clock.
Tracy and her husband went to get her car today, luckily it was still in one piece where we had left it.
catching up as quickly as I can....
