Today the waves stole the show for me, stunning colours and the power that was on display was amazing to watch.

I know, I know, another wave. I am like The Count on Sesame Street. I can't stop, anymore than the ocean can stop the waves. I watched wave after wave roll onto the beach as I sat on the side of the San Simeon Point trail.

While hiking along the crest of the dune, I came to an opening in the dune grass. This allowed the sand to advance like waves.

I thought I'd share these two photos of the wild waves, taken each side of South Parade Pier, as I'd like my photostream to look nice and blue and summery!! Although it was fairly warm out of the wind, you can see the sea was very choppy!
