Very strong winds in Whitehaven harbour stripping the tops off the waves on the incoming tide and creating a continual spray mist. And this despite the shelter from the west pier wall and lighthouse and about 5 hours before high tide.

I risked my camera and it was worth it

I am quite disappointed with this film. Too little contrast and detail for my taste. Three out of eight went totally blue.

As we drove back up Highway 1 to the ranch at the end of New Year's Day the wind had picked up and the surface of the Pacific Ocean turned into something that resembled an upturned corrugated steel roofing sheet with wave after wave rolling endlessly against the shore.
