We can have sudden fierce storms and we had a northeaster in late April. Waves were strong at the lighthouse.

The splashes on this formation went as high as 15 feet at times. It was fun to watch.

Eagle Beach is a beach and neighborhood of Oranjestad, Aruba. The neighborhood is famous for its many low-rise resorts and wide public beach. It has soft white sand and has been rated one of the best beaches in the world.

Waves ebb and flow during strong winds, each wave merging with the next.

I used my zoom lens for these photos and was pleased with how they came out...

Wave, the red poppy at installation currently on exhibit at YSP, West Yorkshire, UK......originally part of a larger installation in autumn 2014 at Tower of London, UK. The art installations are designed to promote dialogue about the First World War. These are exhibited on the historic Cascade Bridge at YSP.

Waves crashing along a coastal scenic walk, patonga national park central coast

boats and ships ... far far away

we're expecting near 60 knot winds and 20 ft swell coupled with 10 ft wind waves, should be fun!

It was taken with P.Angenieux RETROFOCUS 35㎜ F2.5 type R1 modified to fit Nikon DSLR.
