Shot with the Cosina Ultron 40/2...
This is a nice little monster of a lens, I did not like the hood that much -- good stray light protection but really bad elbow shield, so I used the the Nikon HN-3 hood, it is a bit big, worse light shielding but way better protection :)
One of my sharpest lenses, and too sharp for some things even wide open!! ...this essentially makes it VERY critical to hit focus and very trivial not to!
The focal length is a bit odd, my head keeps framing the picture either as a 50mm or as a 35mm and then I get surprised when/if I look through the VF... yes, I frame in my head and not in the viewfinder :)
I seem to have become a fan of Cosina, three cheers for Mr. K!! ;)
Bus passenger numbers have been down for a very long time now - but the Skylink keeps on operating taking workers from Leicester to Derby via East Midlands Airport where a lot of distribution and shipping companies are based.
Skylink runs 24/7.
In normal times passengers would ride this bus to the airport, and back again with sombreros, sun burn, packets of 200 fags in their suitcases...
Nusa Dua beach, Bali, Indonesia. You can see people standing on the edge on the cliff which gives a measure of the height of the splash this wave created

This THE HORSE'S MANE:
During our 1 1/2hr trek towards the most Southern point of Fuerteventura, along dust and dirt roads, I suddenly saw white appearing now and then on the land-horizon... as we drove closer, I realised what it was, we jumped out of the car and just ran up the slope to see something I'd never seen before in my life, huge waves and the 'horse's mane'!
My heart jumped in my throat, I stood there... speechless, tears streaming...
I keep saying it, what is ordinary for the people who live there, is the exotic for me..
The Atlantic waves crashing in, the off-shore wind creating the spray, I just sat there and took image after image and then stared some more taking it all in, no other sounds but the sea, the clean air filling the lungs, the salty taste on the lips...
A moment full of awe for our beautiful world...
