A dune fence used to help stabilize the the coastal dunes in central Florida and to keep people from climbing and driving on the dunes. Shot in digital infrared.
For some reason this one has a lot more views than my other photos that happen to have more comments. I suppose this photo insinuates enough interest for a click to view it a bit larger but nothing more than that. Not that I really care. I just think it's interesting.
He had just got out of the pool. So I swooped down to his height and took the shot of the boy. I really like Plus-X.

Cirrus clouds and a jet contrail shot in digital infrared and warm-toned. The face is on the right margin of the photo and about 1/3 of the way down from the top showing the forehead, the eye and the nose.

Taken on a walk this spring in the Howgill Fells. Holgo 120 Superwide Pinhole Exposure about 10sec with Ilford HP5+ developed in ID-11 and contact printed on Foma MG warmtone glossy paper.

This is one I discovered when I was doing some printing recently, I missed it when I was doing the original scans from the negatives. The reason I missed it is that I don't do contact sheets. Those new to film should get into the habit of generating contact sheets, its a really good process to follow.
This is print of a winter image from the Holga that printed well on Ilford warmtone fibre developed in Ilford warmtone developer, a really nice combination.

Here's my first batch of prints. All printed on 12" x 16" Ilford Warmtone fibre based paper. The illumination across the image isn't perfectly even and you can see the ground glass clips shadowed on the image as I mentioned before. Both of these things can be refined, but for now I'm pretty happy with this set up.
One other benefit of this enlarger set up is that it doesn't take up much room, a huge benefit if you live in a small one bedroom flat/apartment like I do.
My next improvements will be to make the exposure more uniform across the image and create my own ground glass that isn't clipped into a frame as it is on the camera.
So far the enlarger itself has cost me about £20 ($30) which isn't too bad. Most of that was spent on the desk lamp; if you already have one this is a very cheap project indeed.
