Un piccolo angolo tropicale che si trasforma in un’atmosfera magica, fatta di riflessi dorati, silenzio e calma.

My first handmade lumen print using 5 x7 in. Ilford warmtone paper. Dedicated to my Flickr friend B&Wphotog for helping me get started and for sharing her invaluable source of knowledge with this beautiful, joyful and cameraless way of making lumen prints. Check her stunning work and be insprired with her creations, too! Thank you so much, Diane! ;-) www.flickr.com/photos/fineartphotos/sets/72157625501927465/

Happy first day of spring tomorrow!!!

First photo for a while...my previous laptop crashed with all my work on it...not great...

Took this whilst road tripping again. I love the precision of the man made structures against the natural tones of the afterglow of the setting sun.

As usual this is paired with a great song... Goes with British Sea Power - "Machineries of Joy"

This is Allie, once again.

I'm blank on anything interesting to say, so with that, I've been tagged a million times for a bunch of stuff. Here is one of my latest tags by Holly:)

Not sure about this one, can't decide whether I like it or not...

Taken two weeks ago when out for a walk with the dog. I liked the tones from the light hitting the tree and the fact that this tree was different to all the other trees in the same area which were all the same

Taken on the Rolleiflex

Film was Kodak TMax 400 (at iso200) and developed in xtol 1+2.

Printed onto Kentmere FP Warmtone fiber paper.

Developed in fotospeed LD20 lith developer. A & B at 1+20.

There are many abandoned homes and businesses around Salton Sea. It was once a resort area, but the salinity increased to the point where it really didn't support many fish and the algal blooms were huge. Read Cadillac Desert for a little more context.
