Handmade lumen print on Ilford Warmtone. No photoshop: the flowers turned red during development outdoors.
Still working on the highlights on this one but it's getting closer.
An old abandoned house that's so full of character, every time I drive by I need to pull over and look at it. Ripped screens, broken windows, old books still stacked on the sills. I may have to revisit and see the titles... When I scan the negatives visions appear in windows that were previously unnoticed, a young girl in a dress perhaps. Was that singing I heard? Even a Turkey Vulture makes a nest in the unused chimney. He stands ever so still with wings outstretched like a weather vane. Took me a bit by surprise when he moved.
There shall be music in my afterlife.
Darkroom print on Ilford Warmtone RcVc.
Film capture is Tmax400.
Camera is the Mamiya RB67 with 127 lens.

Photograph made the last day this horse, Doc, was alive. The owner knew she had to put him down the next day. Poor horse had cancer in one eye. After surgically removing that eye he was fine for six years and then developed cancer in his remaining eye, so he would be blind.
I hope the print shows just how much she loved her horse.
This 14x14" silver gelatin print will be delivered to the owner on the three year anniversary of Doc's passing.
I had to scan the print in four pieces and stitch them together, so it might look a bit uneven.
Hasselblad camera, Kodak TMY-2 film, processed in Xtol.
Printed on Ilford Warmtone in Ethol LPD, toned in Moersch MT-3 and Selenium.

Taken with my Anba Ikeda 4x5 with the f7.7/203 Ektar lens.
Bathed in sunset glow, a shy bunny stands guard between two rose bushes. The rich amber light turns the leaves and wall into a glowing frame, giving this quiet moment the feel of a hidden storybook scene.

The boy is my father in the 1930th.
After his death I received a few boxes with a lot of medium format negatives.
Of course I might scan them, but I don´t want to.
It´s like finishing another person´s work. I think the person who took the photo composed it very consciously and in the darkroom it felt a bit strange to look at the picture with the eyes of this person who already died a long time ago. To see like he saw, to be aware of the scene like he (or she?) was.
I printed this old medium format negativ on Ilford MGWT in Moersch Meritol, it is Selenium toned, then bleached and toned in Moersch MT3
Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center, closed 1994. The facility operated from 1924-1994. In it's heyday, up to 5500 resident patients were housed here in the dozens of buildings. The entire campus spreads over 700+ acres in the peaceful little rural town of Wingdale, NY. Originally constructed to be used as a prison, but that plan was met with much disdain by the local residents who fought the plan whereas it was subsequently converted for use as a state psychiatric hospital.
We were told that a Korean organization has now purchased the entire operation with a plan to restore the buildings and convert all for use of an Evangelist Christian university. (not confirmed) Apparently, OSHA has a permanent party resident there, and there has been fines levied against the owners because of workers found working in asbestos, lead paint, and overall toxic environments.
All interior shots were done through windows, many of which were broken. Obviously, entry into any of the buildings was not available, nor was it an option.
Taken in Tierpark Hagenbeck, Hamburg with my Pentax ME on ADOX CHM 400 (which is originally Ilford HP5+), developed in Ilfotec LC29 1+9 for 3,5 minutes.
