This is the same photo I posted in February, but enhanced a bit to show more detail. I believe I like this one better.
Hi there,
Sunflowers are such cheerful flowers that exude happiness.
For Sliders Sunday, I edited the image with an impressionistic filter and tweaked specific colours in Topaz Studio. HSS!
Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving me a comment. I do love hearing from you!

Hello There!
As much as I hate to see flowers fade, they carry their own beauty. Edited with effects in Topaz Studio for Sliders Sunday. Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!
A sidenote: For today, I wanted a more rustic appearance. However, I think I'd like to fool around with this image in monochrome as well. Seems that the possibilities are endless!!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comments! I really appreciate hearing from you! Have a terrific day!

Treated to some great light in the late Afternoon when I captured this image of the sun casting shadows over the rolling hills.
Hello Everyone,
I'm beginning to feel like a broken record as it is another day of bone chilling cold, -34C/-27F to be exact. It's Wannabe Warmer Wednesday and a Black-eyed Susan reminded me of the warm days ahead. WWW!

We have a faux pine tree we keep up year round in our cabin up in the mountains. These golden, miniature pinecones are used to decorate this tree. I think they were passed down from many generations and I was the lucky one who got to have them. My brother and sister weren't interested and I just love them!
Just a fun experiment with photoshop. Mix & match.
Thank you all for the kind comments and faves.
Location? Just my Dreamscape on Singapore in the good old days...
I've passed these oldish pumps (Grass Valley off the Oregon Scenic Byway US 97 in Oregon obviously) many times but always during times when the light was not good. This day the sun was setting so I pulled over and took some pictures. Not sure this was the best one photographically, but I liked the fact that the price of fuel could be read.
Hello All,
Wannabe Warmer Wednesday is about warmth of spirit as well as warmth of weather if one is stuck in cool/cold places. So, I hope this bit of sunshine warms you up one way or another. WWW!

This was a high dynamic range scene, the foreground was really dark so had to do 5 exposure bracketed shots in camera and blend them in post to bring out the details. At another photography site some questioned why I stopped down to f16 which can cause deffraction introducing softness into the scene. There's no way I would be able to get the scene sharp front to back at wider apertures and the softness in the scene is because I used the glow effect from ON1 EFFECTS in PP. Some people obsess about critical sharpness, I'm not one of them.
Anyhow enough of my ramblings, thank you for your comments, favs and views, I appreciate them, have a wonderful weekend.
An all original and beautiful 1947 Cadillac Series 61 Club Coupe.
The Cadillac Series 61 was Cadillac's mainstream product model range. It was priced and equipped more modestly below the limousine, GM D platform Cadillac Series 85, Cadillac Series 90, Cadillac Series 72, Cadillac Series 67, and Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75. It was upgraded to the Series 62 in 1940 only to return to production in model year 1941, replacing the cancelled LaSalle Series 50. While production was suspended from model years 1943–1945 due to World War II, it remained as the junior level product line until 1951. The size, equipment list and quality level were the most popular with buyers who wanted a prestigious luxury car that was usually driven by the owner, while the longer cars were chauffeur driven. It combined the most popular features of the previous Series 60 and Series 65 and was priced at the same level as Buick products of the time.
JJ wasnt having any pictures taken this day. This is how he protested. Made for a cute pose as frusterating as it was.
