Portrait on 4x5" harman direct positive paper, using a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 165/3,5 wide open.
A regular floor lamp was used and the paper rated as iso 1.2.
Developed in Ilford warmtone developer.

More often than not, I make two identical exposures of any scene I deem worthy, so that I get a second chance if processing goes wrong on the first negative.
In this case, the first one came out ok (way back when), so the duplicate was kept aside to be used for testing.
The negative that made this print was developed last week, more than two years after exposure, which speaks volumes for the stability of the latent image on exposed xray films (or at the very least on this particular film, Agfa CPG+).
18x24cm negative (double sided, green sensitive), developed in Ilford MG paper developer (1+50) in a Jobo 2830 drum for 8'min.

at the golden hour, as the sun dips behind the horizon, a lone figure sits atop the painted steps, silhouetted against the fading light. the beams of the setting sun filter through, casting long shadows and creating an ethereal glow. the palms stand tall, silent witnesses to a moment of solitude, reflection, and peace. the diagonal lines of the steps lead the eye upward, capturing the harmony between man, nature, and the urban landscape, all converging in a singular, serene moment.

Hellooo Flickr, I'm still alive! ;P Sorry I haven't been very active on here lately, I've just been doing a lot of client work and life stuff. Sometimes it's nice to just see a pretty face every once in awhile, you know? Minimal editing on this honestly, and the eyes are alllll her's! ;)

Wohoo, first week down! I spent so much of today editing another picture... I loved the concept, and knew exactly how I wanted it to look. Unfortunately, where and when I decided to shoot it were definitely not the right choices. I couldn't make it work, so after 6 complete re-edits, I decided to move on. I edited this in about 15 minutes. All I needed to do was expand, everything else is straight out of the camera. This was the last shot I took at the mini flickr meet up we had in Half Moon Bay. The light was disappearing so quickly, but it was so beautiful

The kids were out last night with their boyscouts. So we could finally enjoy what they don't: sushi. And I have to say you really start to value romantic dinners for two if you can't have them anymore whenever you want...
