In Stipanja bay in Šilo, I captured this beautiful moment of a small speedboat returning to harbor after a day of cruising. As the sun slowly sets over the distant Učka mountain, a rich, golden color spreads across the sea, turning the surface into pure shimmer. Another warm day in this small earthly paradise of ours gently comes to an end, leaving behind peace and quiet. Neki dani na otoku završavaju tako savršeno da podsjećaju na to koliko je malo potrebno za osjećaj potpunog mira. U uvali Stipanja u Šilu zabilježio sam ovaj predivan trenutak povratka manjeg glisera u luku nakon cjelodnevne plovidbe. Lit using a 75 watt halogen security floodlight I found in a rubbish skip, cleaned it up, rewired it and a new bulb end result nice soft light. Slight adjustments in Lightroom to enhance warm tones.

#TBT I love bees. In addition to their charm and beauty, I appreciate all of the important & hard work they do for us. We all appreciate it. Interestingly enough, I thought about my Father as I posted this photo. This week marked my Mother’s passing and it hit me that, because I had lost both of my parents by my sophomore year in college, I have now lived more of my life without them. However, I remember their life lessons as if it was yesterday. In junior high, I remember my Dad impressing upon me the importance of always doing my very best. That I should always strive for “all A’s.” I remember saying I agreed, but B’s weren’t all that bad, either. He told me I needed to remember that “B’s will sting you.” Very good life advice, don’t you think? My Dad knew what he was talking about, too.
