#TBT I love bees. In addition to their charm and beauty, I appreciate all of the important & hard work they do for us. We all appreciate it. Interestingly enough, I thought about my Father as I posted this photo. This week marked my Mother’s passing and it hit me that, because I had lost both of my parents by my sophomore year in college, I have now lived more of my life without them. However, I remember their life lessons as if it was yesterday. In junior high, I remember my Dad impressing upon me the importance of always doing my very best. That I should always strive for “all A’s.” I remember saying I agreed, but B’s weren’t all that bad, either. He told me I needed to remember that “B’s will sting you.” Very good life advice, don’t you think? My Dad knew what he was talking about, too. He went to Wake Forest for his undergrad and then to Vanderbilt for Grad School. ❤️you, Dad! *Explored: April 8, 2026 - Thank you.
