What a mess! When I wanted to unlock my cellar's door I noticed that it was already open. It was broken! When I opened the door I saw that my Strevens Strada 600 bike has been stolen.
Can't tell you how angry and sad I was.
My wishes for the thief: A very bad karma until the end of his life and a second life as a gut bacterium.
I wanted to check out the colored pencils from Caran D'ache - luminance 6901. They are very expensive (3,50 Euro each). I don't think they are better than Faber Castell Polychromos. Perhaps the light fastness is better, but I couldn't check it out. Ask me again in 100 years, please.

not doing much of anything today.
being lazy.
just seems to be the kinda day to do that.
of course, matea and morley would never agree.
so they wait . . .
and wait . . .
and wait some more.
. . . because ya never know.
Looks like assembly-line work? Yes, it is. I'm planning to check out the quality of several notebooks and calendars. I sent into the race: Moleskine Pocket Diary, Sigel Conceptum Notebook, Hoboniche Techo planner, Semikolon Petit Voyage, Nuuna Notebook Skin S, TeNeues Cool Diary and a Notebook from the Tiger store.
So I tried to find a theme which is easy to draw and which is good for using watercolors, fineliners, Copic markers. So I drew this Koi. Again and again and again. Does anybody need a Koi drawer? ;-)
In the next step I will summarize the results and reinforce those results with scans from each picture.
Here it comes:

I feel as if I've fallen into a deep winter sleep. It's unbelievable how much I can sleep at the moment!
We've been in a comedy show and it was really funny.
yesterday's journal page.
The self-portrait was taken with a camera from Howard Wells. It's a disposable camera (which can be reused) with a wide-angle lens. He enlarged the aperature which creates interesting results. Thanks Howard! In my right arm, I'm holding my cat, Goliath. You see his head and 2 pointy ears. My other arm is holding the camera--I love the way it's distorted.
This is a set of 5 over-sized postcards of some of my visual journal pages. Each glossy postcard represents a journal spread, and is 8.5" x 5.5". The printing quality is so good, you can read my writing and feel what I was feeling when I created the journal page. Keep it for yourself for art inspiration, or mail it. The back is blank, except for my information, so you can write a note and address it.
I use the Moleskine Pocket diary since 2001. These are all from 2001-2013. 2014 is in use, but it isn't understatement to say that the quality of the the Moleskine's paper is nothing short of catastrophic.
It hasn't been good in any time, but for me it's such a serious fall off in quality that I won't use the Moleskine in the following years in all probability.
In Germany the color for right-wing extremist thoughts is brown. We translate it literally to „brown thoughts“ (=> braunes Gedankengut). (I translated it with „brown shit => braune Scheiße). I have no words for the attacks from right-wing militants and racists on a refugee home in Heidenau, so I could only draw a right-wing bonehead, the color brown and stick in some Nazi stamps. (They show Hindenburg and Hitler, repugnant scum)

My pastel pencils that I don't use very often... actually I don't use them at all
