On my Birds Diary ( Moleskine).

Done at Art and Soul, Hampton, VA with Julianna Coles. The doors will open if the brads are removed....collage, paint, various pens.

In January, in addition to my regular journaling projects, I created a square inch worth of doodle each day, representing something significant (or otherwise) that I remember from that day. Amazingly, I was able to keep this project up-to-date & I will continue on to February in this fashion. I'd like to see how far I can get in the year...

Done in my "reconstructed journal" - images, various papers, paintes, tape, and journaling with souffle pens.

I planted some more sunflowers and indian cress and hope they will grow!

I discovered two little steiff fawns on the fleamarket and couldn't resist. I had to buy them.

i watched you sleep~ your breathing would stop~ i waited, counted, one one thousand two.... up to 10 or 15 seconds, your body still, your pulse slow, i wondered, did you just die? is that it?

New inks for my fountain pens.

Using Zentangle to create a landscape of sorts.

Since a few years I'm admiring the really huge balcony plants from my neighbor. Her geraniums and all the other stuff is triply bigger and gorgeous than mine.

So she brought me two geranium cutting. Hope they will grow good!

What RED speaks to you? To me, it is solely "Chinese" and "Elegant", the whole concept was came from my favourite Chinese Tea - Ti Guan Yin. You can have a different view for the whole set at

The bird of the year. I like cormorants, but not all people share this sympathy.

the 1000th item in my photostream! =)

Drawing done with white signo pen right over layers and layers of acrylic, paper, ink, etc. No pencil...hence the crooked features. (Her head is supposed to be tilted ever so slightly as if she's listening...but those eyes are wrong!) Shoulders are too small as well...but I have to start somewhere, right?

Journal page inspired by the Summer of Color, sage & sepia color combination.

“Wakan Tanka, Great Mystery, teach me how to trust my heart, my mind, my intuition, my inner knowing, the senses of my body, the blessings of my spirit. Teach me to trust these things so that I may enter my sacred space and love beyond my fear, and thus walk in balance with the passing of each glorious sun. "
