One of my favorite pages. The picture was found on Photobucket, I wish I knew who the original artist was so I could give credit. The clipping in the bottom left corner is the name of my favorite bagel bus here locally. The lyrics are a song by Rise Against. Watercolor, stamping, clippings, pastels.

A delayed connection in Delhi. Thank goodness, because we had to go back and forth 10 times between airline staff and security to get our boarding passes. Multiply the horn honking and dog by 50.

210101: We didn't do anything special on New Year's Eve - the most fun we had was with the table fireworks and filming each other in slow motion as we lit them and let them pop. We watched the movies several times because we made such funny faces! I picked out 3 facial expressions each and tried to draw them.

210101: Wir haben Silvester nichts besonderes gemacht - am meisten Spaß hatten wir mit dem Tischfeuerwerk und haben uns gegenseitig in Slowmotion gefilmt, als wir es anzündeten und knallen ließen. Wir haben uns die Filme mehrmals angeschaut, weil wir so lustige Gesichter gemacht haben! Ich habe mir jeweils 3 Gesichtsausdrücke herausgesucht und versucht zu zeichnen.
200416: I am so glad that the never ending story with the through traffic in our office will hopefully finally come to an end. 12 people are sitting in our neighbouring offices, so someone walks through our office about every 3 minutes. It‘s hard to concentrate when there is constant movement in the office, flanked by banging and beeping from our new security door. I have raised the problem again, and the colleagues from the neighbouring offices use their own entrance now. I am overjoyed!

200416: Ich bin so froh, dass die Never ending story mit dem Durchgangsverkehr in unserem Büro hoffentlich endlich ein Ende hat. Mit der neuen Sicherheitstür kommt zusätzlich zu dem ohnehin schon nervigen Durchgangsverkehr noch das Piepen und laute Knallen der Tür hinzu. In den Nachbarbüros sitzen 12 Personen, viele davon nehmen die Abkürzung durch unser Büro. Das bedeutet: Ca. alle 3 Minuten läuft jemand durch, und es knallen 2 Türen - eine davon piept zusätzlich. Mit der ständigen Bewegung, dem Geknalle und Gepiepe kann man sich einfach schlecht konzentrieren. Deshalb habe ich das Problem erneut angesprochen, und die Kollegen der Nachbarbüros benutzen nun ihren eigenen Eingang. Ich bin überglücklich!

...Ruby Ruby Ruby So-Ho? lol
This is what happens when you get distracted from studying a spanish final. I thought maybe if I combined art with school, it'd be easier to remember. So I wrote the purposes of the word "para" vs. "por" and one of the uses of para is destination. So I used that, and the page sprouted from there.

Each year, LGBT people of color gather from all over the US for the most epic party at sea. LGBT Takeover Excursions & Events organizes Unleashed at Sea with Carnival Cruise Line every October as a way to create a safe place in travel and provide the community with an opportunity to travel with like minds.
Unleashed at Sea 2018 took place in Cozumel, Mexico. Hypeman Bizzy, Tim Bae, DJ Honey and Piph the Party Plug made sure that our Takeover this year was one they our guests would never forget.
