I used up scraps of paper from my cutting up atcs and inchies from a piece of water coloring my Mum sent to me. I added acrylic paints and lettering in white gel pen. Such a fun thing to do with scraps.
I did these pages as we were driving on the 401, relax, I wasn't driving!!! I've had these gel effects markers from Crayola for years and finally got around to using them. I love the effects on the black paper. I also used some metallic colored pencils too.
Totally inspired and amazed by the whole desgin team of Prima. Here is my first submission for the their layout in April. Check this post for the original sketch. Named it TIMELINE - journaled and daydreamed five years ahead in five tags, painted and added elements on a canvas.
200307: On Saturday I had an appointment with @thorstenkleier. He wanted to draw the lighthouse in Holtenau, but it was covered with scaffolding. Not far away from the lighthouse we found another nice place to draw. In the afternoon we met @bittner623 in a café and chatted there until the café closed. A great day with nice people!

200307: Am Samstag war ich mit @thorstenkleier verabredet. Er wollte den Leuchtturm in Holtenau zeichnen, aber der war mit einem Baugerüst ummantelt. Wir haben ein Stückchen weiter aber dennoch einen schönen Platz zum Zeichnen gefunden. Nachmittags trafen wir uns in einem Café mit @bittner623 und verquatschten uns dort, bis das Café schloss. Ein toller Tag mit netten Leuten!

For day 14 of "30 Days of Get Your Art On," I finished the journal page that I started yesterday. The writing that I did started with me being overwhelmed, to being my own cheerleader and setting a goal. I love how journaling works that way, changing your mood. This is a detail.
