I want to hold the hand inside you
I want to take a breath that's true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
You live your life
You go in shadows
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew
A stranger's light comes on slowly
A stranger's heart without a home
You put your hands into your head
And then smiles cover your heart
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew

Label reads: “Winemaker’s selection. Vintage 1974 vat 9. Tyrrell’s. Hunter River. Dry Red. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. The Red wines produce in 1974 are typical of those from wet cloudy years which are sometimes experienced in the Hunter. The wines generally have a more intense fruit character and are lighter in body than those of the hot years. Our oldest vines from the red clay soil of our eight acre vineyard were picked during early vintage to make this wine. It shows good red, purple colour, strong fruit flavour and a firm slightly astringent finish. I believe this will develop into a true Hunter style and will continue to improve after 3-4 years bottle aging. 738ml” --Please contact us if you are the subject of the image, or know the subject of the image, and have cultural or other reservations about the image being displayed on this website and would like to discuss this with us.--This item can be used for study and personal research purposes. Label reads: “Carbonic Maceration. Vintage 1978. Tyrrell’s. Hunter River. Cabernet. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. Made from 100% Cabernet grapes grown on the Weinkeller Vineyard. The process of Carbonic Maceration involves the fermentation of all undamaged berries and has been used on only a few occasions in Australia. The technique results in a wine giving maximum fruit and softness available. The wine shows strong fruit on the nose and the palate and is well balanced with tannin and acid on the finish. I believe this to be a classic wine of the style and one that has all the qualities for long aging in the bottle. 750ml.

Label reads: “Vintage 1977 vat 70. Tyrrell’s Hunter River Cabernet. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. Made from Cabernet grapes picked late in vintage from the Bimbadgen vineyard. The wet conditions of the vintage were suited to the Cabernet variety and the 1977 is the best so far made. It has rich purple colour, full fruit flavour and a firm tannin and acid finish. The wine was matured for 12 months in new American Oak puncheons which has increased the complexity of the bouquet and palate. A great wine of the Claret style that will require 5-6 years to fully soften and develop. 370ml.”

Label reads: “Vintage 1976. Tyrrell’s. Hunter River. Rhine Riesling. Silver Medal R.A.S. Adelaide. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. This wine was made from 100 per cent Rhine Riesling grapes which were picked early while they still contained good acid. The juice was fermented under cold conditions and slight pressure. This has produced a light bodied wine with pale yellow colour and a flowery Rhine Riesling character with a clean, crisp finish. This wine will develop bouquet and flavour with a further 1-2 years bottle age while still retaining its freshness, but will also be ideal served chilled for summer drinking. 750ml.”

Label reads: “Winemaker’s selection. Vintage 1975 vat 5. Tyrrell’s Hunter River. Dry Red. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. The 1975 vintage in the Hunter Valley has produced Red wines of outstanding quality similar to those of the now classic 1965 vintage. This wine was made from Hermitage grapes picked during mid-vintage from our N.V.C. Vineyard which always produces a softer Burgundy style. The wine has a deep purple colour and a full flavour with overtones of the earthy Hunter character. There is a comparatively high level of acidity but the wine remains full and soft and in perfect balance. I believe this to be a truly great wine and one that will develop and improve with a further 5-7 years bottle aging. 750ml.”
