WALL. CANVAS. my visual identity for a big exhibition in The Central House of Artists, Moscow. The exhibition is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of section of monumental art of Moscow Union of Artists.
Label reads: “The 1977 Vintage has produced White wines with full rich fruit character and the soft acid finish of the traditional Hunter White styles. This wine was made from Pinot Chardonnay grapes grown on our Short Flat vineyard. The juice was fermented cold in old German Oak casks and then transferred to new French Oak hogsheads until bottling. The use of small Oak has added flavour and complexity and has assisted in making a wine of the classic White Burgundy style. I believe this to be a truly great wine and one that will develop and improve if given a further 4/5 years bottle ageing. Murray D. Tyrrell. Winemaker.”

a poster i did fo a coursein my college. the poster deals more about grid and compostion, but i think that it serves the subject that was chosen after the grid - which is the crucial scene in the book/film, where Frodo, Sam, and Golum are at mount doom, about to throw the ring to the boiling lava.
I was trying not to do the typical gender, specific baby shower invite with baby powder blues for a boy and light pinks for a girl. Plus, this shower was co-ed, and I wanted it to appeal to everyone.
In this first shower, I went with a colorful palette that leaned to be more feminine with the hot magenta hue since my friend was having a baby girl. And for her custom invite, I used this fun baby rhyme that we once heard as children – (insert a girl's name) and (insert a boy's name) sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, First comes love , Then comes marriage, Then comes (insert a girl's name) with a baby carriage. Obviously, I modified the rhyme to be more fitting for the invite.
Custom invitation design, reverse side of cover - shower information, custom circular labels and envelopes from Paper Source.
Technique: 4-color ink on Epson Heavyweight Matte Paper, printed front and back on an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer.

Label reads: “Winemaker’s selection. Vintage 1979 vat 5. Tyrrell’s Hunter River. Dry Red. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. This wine was made from Hermitage grapes picked during mid vintage from our N.V.C. Vineyard. With the ideal weather conditions leading up to and during vintage we picked a larger than normal crop in excellent condition off this vineyard. The wine is medium to full bodied, has good colour and is of a fine elegant well balanced Hunter Burgundy style. It was matured only in old French Oak 500 gallon casks before bottling in April, 1980. At this this stage the Vat 5 has not developed as quickly as other wines, but I believe that when bottled it will continue to improve and develop for many years. 370ml.”

Colors: Shades of Blue + Turquoise
This wedding inspiration board was inspired by Pantone's 2010 color of the year – Turquoise.
If you can't have a destination wedding on the beach with the ocean as your gorgeous backdrop, bring the ocean to you. Be bold! and wash everything in shades of the ocean for your wedding and reception. Surround your whole reception venue with strong, accessory lighting to create the effect that you are surrounded by the cool, ocean water.
I have the perfect wedding invitation design that will go perfectly with the look of this mood board. I am envisioning a very artistic treatment of waves, very graphic, on the cover, and the initials of the bride and groom are perfectly embedded into the design. If you like what you see and hear, email me for custom invitation designs. I am here to help in anyway to make your day come to life.

Label reads: “Vintage 1974 vat 12A. Tyrrell’s. Hunter River. Cabernet Shiraz. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Produce of Australia. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. This wine is 50 per cent Tyrrell’s Ashman Hermitage and 50 per cent Gil Wahlquist Mudgee Cabernet. The remaining maturation period was spent in old 500 gallon German Oak Casks. This is a higher coloured wine, full of Cabernet character and with a delightful honeyed wood character finish. The wood treatment has made the wine softer than the 12A blend of previous years. I believe this wine will improve greatly with 3-4 years bottle aging. 738ml."

Colors: Green, White + Gray
I had an itch for a summer, emerald green color palette after I saw the Carolina Herrera's white gown called "Constance". The dramatic, wavy ruffles on the dress reminded me of the Peony's chunky white petals (on the second board, lower-right corner). Then I saw the dark green stem against the white Peony and came up with the perfect color combo – green, white and a soft grey. It's a nice combination for a spring wedding – fresh, crisp and clean.
I always love a nice, tailored grey suit with a nice tie, like the one above in green for the groom and his groomsmen. And for the reception table decor, only use fresh live plants like green grass, moss, herbs and even live plant terrariums.

Label reads: “Vintage 1974 vat 10. Tyrrell’s. Hunter River. Dry Red. Estate bottled. Tyrrell’s Vineyards PTY LTD., Pokolbin N.S.W. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker. Picked off the old vines of the Baulkham Vineyards during late vintage. Here, the vines are grown on rich red clay soil that generally produced big flavoured wines. This year the wine is slightly lighter in colour and shows a dry skin character on the bouquet. It has good fruit on the palate and a clean acid finish that will remain as the wine matures. This wine will develop into an attractive lighter style with 2-3 years bottle aging. 738ml.” --Please contact us if you are the subject of the image, or know the subject of the image, and have cultural or other reservations about the image being displayed on this website and would like to discuss this with us.--This item can be used for study and personal research purposes. Label reads: “The 1975 Vintage in the Hunter Valley was an exceptional one. Wines are a lighter more delicate style displaying strength of flavour and a finesse similar to the 1972 vintage. This wine was made from Semillon grapes picked early in vintage from the sandy loam flats of our Pokolbin vineyards. It was fermented cold in old German Oak casks and bottled early to preserve the natural freshness and flavour of the Semillon grape. The wine has an attractive green/gold colour and fresh crisp flavour. This wine is suitable for immediate drinking, but I believe it will develop into a classic Hunter style if carefully cellared for up to five years. Murray D. Tyrrell. Winemaker.”

This 1st birthday invitation is for a boy so it required masculine colors which worked well with the Halloween theme. Being a themed invite, I didn't want to go overboard with it being gruesome/scary and wanted a "cuteness" factor, because this is a party geared towards little kiddies ranging in ages from 1 to 5 yrs old. And the perfect visual solution that also happens to be on trend with the season are owls. However for this invite design, I made the owl a baby with big, white googly eyes on an overly rounded body.
In the background, I created a custom pattern with different sized googly eyes repeated, and layered it on a textural, brushed background to add another visual layer of interest. Isn't this baby owl so adorable!? I just want to pinch his cheeks. :)

Label reads: “The Semillon grapes for this wine were picked during mid-vintage from our Pokolbin vineyards. The juice was fermented cold in Old German Oak casks and then matured for three months in new German Oak puncheons. The wine will be transferred back to large Oak until bottling in August 1978. This wine has rich green/gold colour and full fruit flavour which is enhanced and lifted by the small Oak treatment. I believe this wine required 1/3 years bottle ageing to realize the full potential of the style. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker.”
