Egress exit requirements now include the use of photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) signs. Because the material has a longer lifespan than traditional exit signs, and consume zero energy and uses ambient light to charge its glow, they require fewer building materials and less maintenance. The material can also be use in more specific locations to visually communicate a safety path, combining for a much more attractive exit sign option than the traditional LED or Tritium exit signs.

The Margan Familyhave been growing grapes in the Hunter Valley Austalia for over 30 years Our philosophy is to concentrate on producing premium wines that are typically characteristicof each selected varietal grown in the warm maritime climate of the Hunter Valley. This wine was hand picked from low yielding dryland vines grown in the belford sub-region of the Hunter Valley The palate has full flavoured lemon citrus characters which are typical of good Hunter Semillons. Fermented without the use of oak and bottled early the wine has been produced to be consumed as a young fresh wine whist the lingering acid finish ensures it's cellaring ability. Label reads: “Tregrehan was the estate of an ancestor of the Angove Family, in Cornwall, and the name was given to the first vineyard in South Australia planted by Dr. Angove, the founder of the Company. Tregrehan Claret is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes grown in the Riverland District of South Australia. It is matured in oak where the wine develops a pleasant but not overpowering woodiness. The style and character of the grape varieties is evident, the Cabernet Sauvignon being dominant, softened a little by the Shiraz. After bottling the wine is ‘binned’ for a further period before being released onto the market. ‘Treg’ as it is often called, bears a vintage date. It is ready for drinking when offered for sale but will continue to mature as the years go by.” Angove’s Winery and Distillery, Renmark.” --Please contact us if you are the subject of the image, or know the subject of the image, and have cultural or other reservations about the image being displayed on this website and would like to discuss this with us.--This item can be used for study and personal research purposes. The Covid-19 setting has made it challenging to speculate about alternative futures. Corona narratives and preventive measures dominate the discourse. The feeling of uncertainty fuels adversarial reactions and resistance, leading to conspiracy hypotheses and social control. In this climate of dystopian surveillance and the lockdown of feelings and interactions, we are looking for a more nuanced vocabulary and a more colourful range of possibilities for action. What are the ways out of a shocked society paralysed by order instructions during a pandemic? We create speculative design objects through which to track down the moods, fears, needs and desires in contemporary urban situations. By using augmented print objects in different scenarios, viewers can experience a range of possibilities for alternative realities that stimulate interaction. post-covid fictions are visual interventions in the city space to contrast dystopian realities with “smartness”, resilience, alternative images and colourful calls to action through speculative design.
