The trip from Singapore to Taipei went smoothly, and we took a shuttle from the TaoYuen airport to the high-speed rail terminal. The train got us to Tainan in about 2 hours where we took another shuttle to a bus stop where Angie and LiShung had agreed to meet. Unfortunately we got off one stop too early. I was stuck on a dark street corner with 4 bags, not a penny of money, and not a word of Taiwanese while Angie rode the next bus to find Li Hsiang. I was sure glad to see them come driving up about a half hour later. All's well that ends well!

Have not been in a couple of years, so thought I'd spend some tome at Fermilab this fine Saturday!

After getting the Christmas tree, we stopped at this little family restaurant for lunch. Santa was there so we had to get pictures. Matt even told Santa that he wanted a dirt bike for Christmas (Daddy's been coaching him...haha). They even gave Matt a little gift box with a bouncy ball, eraser, and candy in it. We weren't very successful at getting the kids to actually look at the camera! Alissa even tried to grab a hold of Santa's beard. :)

I also dropped in at the Fulbridge Academy. By recruiting 20,000 new teachers, investing an extra £25 billion every year and capping class sizes to 30, we'll ensure every child gets a quality education.

In the British Virgin Islands, one of the more popular attractions on Virgin Gorda is the natural stretch of beach known as The Baths. Huge boulders, haphazardly hurled to their resting places by a prehistoric volcano, form caves, pools and grottoes that give the beach its spectacular beauty. Though challenging to squeeze through in places, the trail leading between the beaches is well worth the 20-minute walk, crawl and climb. (A nearby protected area, in fact, is called Crawl National Park.)

It was a pleasure to visit Milton Keynes and support our fantastic Labour candidates, Charlynne Pullen and Hannah O'Neill, in their election campaigns. (31st October, 2019)

We took an extended Weekend to take the girls to Minnesota to visit Amy's parents. On the second day of our visit we went to the Eagle Rescuse center in Wabash and Lark's Toys in Kellogg. I must admit while I thought the toy museum would be weak, it was very cool, and they probably had one of the most beautiful carousels I have ever seen.
