Dahlia Lady Darlene 20cm (8" diameter) bloom with a visitor, from my garden.
Many thanks to all those who view, fav or comment my pictures. I very much appreciate it.
This female Old World Swallowtail spent a number of minutes on our Buddleia, closely followed by a Nature's Paparazzi, me :)
Normally a resident further north, a pair of Loons have been around for about 10 days. Always a treat to see some of the less common visitors as they pass through.
Heading out when I looked left and saw this visitor 2 doors up...pretty sure its a Mistle Thrush (bigger, pale wing edges, please correct me if wrong)...a nicer angle not possible without trespassing and a knock on the door!
Took this shot through my sliding door window, so it's not as sharp as I would like, but none the less I didn't want to miss the opportunity to catch this little beauty. They don't stay for long & they don't often stop moving. Hope you all like it.

Dag took me on a tour here. in December last year.
This was taken in one of the Calas Galadhon sims, I forgot which one :-)
Silver Gull (Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae)
I wandered up to the Heathdale - Glen Orden Wetlands this morning to see how they are looking after all the rain yesterday. I have not seen them this wet since 2014. Occasionally I will see one or two Gulls there, today there was a flock of about 80 working along the D I Drain.
I saw this Fashionably Dead outfit while in the store looking at the April 30th Saturday Sale when I noticed that this outfit was the same price. I later came across the commuter rail car in the Orchid Island sim, and the idea popped into my head. Having been able to visit home as travel restrictions have eased, I took a pic at the spur of the moment. It about sums up how I felt about going home.
Thanks to Alicia West for looking at my few pictures for the the last two years and persisting in encouraging me to resume posting.
