An unusual visitor to our garden and particularly to this tree (no flowers). Taking a break whilst sunbathing I guess.
Shot with the fully manual vivitar 75-205 f3.8
Comments welcome as always and thanks for looking.

Spadina engine terminal offered ever-changing lineups as equipment constantly moved around. From left to right are a CN RS18, a string of VIA RDC’s, a CN SW1200ES, a Southern FP7 in town for the NRHS convention, and a CN S13.
Toronto Building Reflections...
The outbuildings of Harbour Plaza Condos 88 Harbour street reflected beautifully in the RBC WaterPark Place building windows.
The noonday sun was blazing a path through a pale blue sky; playing havoc with my cameras meters. getting this shot while standing in the intersection was a risky move given the impatience of Toronto drivers.

Untamed Birds of Colombia Expedition
Still in the mountains east of Manizales but visiting yet another special site - once (still) a cow farm, now ever growing in the world of birding and bird photography.
A proud example of locals discovering their beautiful wildlife and creating a more harmonious co-existance.
You may be more familiar with its previous name, the Rufous Anpitta, before it was split into 12 separate species, 8 of which are endemic to Colombia (2), Peru (5) and Bolivia (1).
It is amazing the things we still have yet to learn about the subtle details of species, despite the similarities in appearance.
A few new birds to add to our target lists now! But we can at least give you an excellent chance to see the leggy Equatorial Antpitta with us.
While visiting Toronto a while ago, I was downtown and came upon this small park. There was this fountain with these two pigeons on it, so naturally I had to get photos of them. We don't have may brown colored pigeons where I am, so this was kinda cool
Here you can see their house and the neighbor across the street.

Jet lagged, I woke up early, and started an hike before sunrise up the mountain from my hometown Schuders, located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. I reached the top of the mountain ridge shortly after sunrise.
I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
