I was captivated by the beauty of the sideboard. I just had to wait for a guest to come into the party ... and click

A panorama taken at the viewpoint along Kamloops Lake on the way to Prince George. I shot this with my Fuji 16-80 mounted on my Funi X-S10 @ f11. The panorama was made up of 11 vertical exposures processed in Capture One and stitched together in PT Gui Pro.

Beautiful viewpoint, worth the climb and the washing I got from the cold spring rain on my way back...

Whitby Abbey

Taken from a different viewpoint to the norm, I tried to get a bit of the beach and sea in as well to show how high the headland is that the Abbey stands on.

Such a great place and so popular. This one was taken within minutes of the Abbey opening, before the bulk of the visitors started to arrive.

The Mysterious Pillars of the Earth

Hoodoos Viewpoint offers a unique perspective over a field of hoodoos (rock columns) within Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada), located near the town of Banff.

What are Hoodoos?: These are curious geological formations—natural, towering rock columns topped with a caprock. These natural sculptures have been created over thousands of years by the slow but persistent erosion from wind and water.

Panoramic Views: The viewpoint allows visitors not only to admire these mysterious figures up close but also offers stunning panoramic vistas of the Bow River winding through the valley and the surrounding mountains, including Mount Rundle.

Significance: The word 'hoodoo' derives from a belief that these formations possess mystical or magical powers. It is a popular spot for short walks and for gaining a deeper understanding of the region's geological history.

Mon Cham, Chiang Mai – 2016

This panorama was made at sunrise when I stood at a viewpoint near to the wonderful Cadini di Misurina. Right behind we can see Monte Cristallo and Croda Rossa (Hohe Gaisel) already catching the full light of the morning sun.

I was working with the H6D-100 and the HC 3,5/50 II. The panorama was merged from 8 single shots taken from the tripod.

The Mirador de La Galiana is located in the town of Ucero (Soria). Located approximately at km 20 of the road that connects El Burgo de Osma with San Leonardo de Yagüe, the viewpoint is very well indicated and offers great views of the south of the Lobos River Canyon.

This viewpoint is the best known and most frequented in the Cañón del Río Lobos Natural Park. If we get to it from Ucero, we will go up the road that winds up the slope of the “Côte de La Galiana”. The curves that go up the hillside are close to the 180º turning radius.

As soon as we reach the top, we find a parking lot on both sides of the road. The parking lot has asphalt floors and painted parking spaces, both for cars and buses.
