The Tena Valley runs parallel to the Gállego River, between the Sierras de Tendeñera and Partacua. In the photograph you can see the westernmost part of Tendeñera, with the peaks of Peña Blanca, Peña Rápita and Peña de Hoz. A wonderful viewpoint that leaves no one indifferent.
El Valle de Tena transcurre paralelo al río Gállego, entre las Sierras de Tendeñera y Partacua. En la fotografía puede apreciarse la parte más occidental de Tendeñera, con los picos de Peña Blanca, Peña Rápita y Peña de Hoz. Un maravilloso mirador que no deja indiferente a nadie.

Windmill Viewpoint is located between Ya Nui and Nai Harn beaches in south Phuket. Not far from Cape Phromthep.
The Three Rondavels on Mpumalanga’s Panorama Route give a spectacular view over the Blyde River Canyon.
Shaped like traditional African beehive huts, the Three Rondavels form three huge pinnacles of rock rising above the canyon below.
Experienced one of the worst weathers in recent summers in Iceland that day with extremely windy conditions and heavy rain. Captured this from the viewpoint at Hraunfossar Lava Falls.
Hraunfossar - Lava Falls - are beautiful and unusual natural phenomena. Clear, cold springs of subterranean water seep through the lava and run as tiny waterfalls and rapids into the Hvita River.
Mirador del Coll de Josa, Berguedà, Lleida, España.
Desde el Mirador de Coll de Josa podemos observar una de los paisajes más fantásticos de la comarca, una zona con bosque de mezcla de pino negro y pino silvestre, además, de una extensa zona agrícola con bancales que aprovechan el terreno. Actualmente zonas de pasto. Nos podemos fijar que desde el mirador también se puede ver el pueblo de Gósol y los restos de su castillo, que corona la colina que le hace de rasero. Al este, tenemos el gran macizo del Pedraforca aquí con una imagen nada típica de éste y agrandado por la proximidad a la que estamos. En el oeste de Gósol observamos toda la zona boscosa de la Sierra del Verd. Si cruzamos este collado empezaremos a descender y enseguida se nos abrirá todo un valle bastante cerrado que nos conduce hacia el Alt Urgell (Josa, Tuixent, valle de la Vansa...).
Forma parte de la red de miradores paisajísticos del Berguedà.
From the Coll de Josa viewpoint we can see one of the most fantastic landscapes in the region, an area with a mixed forest of black pine and Scots pine, as well as an extensive agricultural area with terraces that take advantage of the land. Currently pasture areas. We can see that from the viewpoint you can also see the town of Gósol and the remains of its castle, which crowns the hill that serves as a standard. To the east, we have the great massif of Pedraforca here with an image that is not typical of it and enlarged by the proximity to which we are. To the west of Gósol we can see the entire wooded area of the Sierra del Verd. If we cross this pass we will begin to descend and immediately a fairly closed valley will open up to us that will lead us towards Alt Urgell (Josa, Tuixent, Vansa valley...).

You can climb up to a viewpoint that overlooks Moon Valley. The land is carpeted with pinnacles, densely packed into a relatively small area, urban development is encroaching on this impressive space, the city of La Paz is nearby. May be worth to have a look?

You can view Delicate Arch from upper viewing point, which is about a half mile hike up a hill. Well worth the climb, especially if you're unable to make it up to Delicate Arch itself. The arch is one of the main and most popular of the attractions at this park. The rangers allow you to walk onto the slickrock as long as you do not walk on non-rock surfaces. Sun down time, ended onto a plateau where the arch appeared almost like a vision on top of the cliffs, the deep cliffs under my foot…
I posted a photo yesterday, this one is in a bit different view, you can see the tiny Delicate Arch far away in the meddle of the photo… Most people ended up at viewpoint, could not see this view, it took a bit effort to climb to this location, few people did it, you can see three people sitting and waiting for the sunset on the edge of cliffs... Not long after taking this photo, it started raining, no real sunset...
It is a unique experience when you see such pictures early in the morning at sunrise: The southern end of the Schrammstein chain with the "Vordere Torstein", the "Meurerturm" and the "Kesselturm" rain out of the sea of fog in the Elbe valley and shine in the morning sun...

The view from the top of Quercus Rock is awesome as you look straight down Howe Sound with mountains on either side of you.From this viewpoint, we have a 180-degree lookout over Howe Sound. We can also see Anvil Island in the distance directly to the south, and the mountain ranges on both sides of Howe Sound. And if you look carefully down below, you’ll see cars zooming around a corner of the Sea to Sky Highway. We see the road on another photo I shared last week. today i just want to show you a pic with a bench !!! Enjoy!
La vue depuis le sommet de Quercus Rock est impressionnante lorsque vous regardez droit vers le bas Howe Sound avec des montagnes de chaque côté de vous. De ce point de vue, nous avons un belvédère à 180 degrés sur Howe Sound. Nous pouvons également voir l'île Anvil au loin directement au sud et les chaînes de montagnes des deux côtés de la baie Howe. Moving on to an internationally well known viewpoint of Meteora I was more than happy to stand alone on it. This actual spot used to be crowded with dozens of tourists in the past, prior to the COVID 19 restrictions. Not that day.
I took my time to leisurerly admire the scenery, set up my tripod and work on the conposition of the frame you see in front of you.

I recently discovered, after living in Tsawassen for 32 years, a viewpoint that I had never been on. Its behind my local library that I visit often, just goes to show you that we only see what we want to see. I was thrilled because I love photographing parking lots and the best way to do that is from a high point. Afterwards I went into the library to warm up because it was sooo cold :)
