In den Fjorden an der Westküste Senja's, malerischer Steg zur Steinküste runter, bizarre Felsformationen rundum.
In the fjords on the west coast of Senja, picturesque jetty down to the rocky coast, bizarre rock formations all around.
Novigrad na Dobri is now little village along the river Dobra and the historical roads Karolina (1726th to 1732nd), situated in a beautiful valley underfloor the once important fortified medieval town of the same name. Even earlier, the whole place, including a castle and a parish, simply called Dobra, after the river that flows through it. At the edge of the Novigrad place passages and other old roads, Louisiana (1803rd to 1811th), and since 2001 a beautiful view of the vote and the surrounding area is provided with the highway Zagreb - Rijeka.
A new location to me that I wanted to check out. Amazing views from there, looking over Epsom golf course to the city, which is 15 miles away. I tried lots of different spots to get the skyscrapers in Vauxhall on the left in properly but just not possible with the positioning of the trees.
A simple two shot focus stack, one for the golf course and one for the city. Deliberately wanted to leave the foreground trees left and right slightly soft to give more of a draw into the city.
Thanks very much for viewing. Have a great weekend!
This viewpoint in Goreme, Cappadocia affords panoramic views of the town and the distinctive 'fairy chimneys' many of which were used as dwellings until fairly recently
Four specially commissioned sculptural seats by John Kennedy on the infamous A939 Lecht Road which sits at 637m above sea level offers spectacular views towards Corgarff Castle. Corgarff Castle was originally built in 1550 by the Forbes clan and has been a site of great significance for several tumultuous events throughout its history. Though small in scale, the white-harled Castle stands in stark isolation from its surroundings and has a monumental and evocative presence in an otherwise almost uninhabited landscape.
The Watchers installation has a significant relationship with the Castle, which was already established by the existing standing stone sculpture `A Moment in Time` by Louise Gardiner which was designed to frame telescopic views of the Castle. The Watchers adds some new but similar formed cowels clustered on the hillside close to the existing standing stone.
These contain seating and provide hooded shelters for individuals in a wind and snow-swept environment.
Each cowl is formed like origami from folded sheets of steel.
As a group, the cowls contribute to the evocative atmosphere of the site.
The abstract nature of these enveloping cowls invites various interpretation as to what they might be: a henge, a herd on a hillside, armoured figures, helmets, a group of martial figures, tents, crows, ruins, standing stones or whisky stills....
With the Isle of Portland in the distance, this view is taken between Lulworth and Durdle Door, a few miles further east than some of my previous photos across Weymouth Bay.
At the Suidhe Viewpoint on the B862, looking north over Strath Errick, the road meanders for miles with incredible views over the Scottish Highlands.
Canadian Rocky Mountains, Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
The Viewpoint is along the Icefields Parkway, about 5 km south of Abathasca Falls. It overlooks the Athabasca River & among other peaks, Mount Fryatt. We did not see any goats when we visited this site one afternoon in August.

Carreg Cennen Castle, Brecon Beacons National Park, Powys, Wales, UK
Carreg Cennen Castle (Welsh: Castell Carreg Cennen meaning castle (on the) rock (above the) Cennen) is a castle near the River Cennen, in the village of Trap, four miles south of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The castle is within the Brecon Beacons National Park, and its location has been described as spectacular, due to its position above a limestone precipice. It has been in a ruinous state since 1462 and is now in the care of Cadw, the Welsh Government historic environment service.

Stairway to Heaven.
Footprints appeared to take you to a lookout in the clouds.
To me, it looked like it could be Heaven's Bench.
I could only wish that heaven had visiting hours.

The Tufjord Viewpoint offers good views of one of the scenic fjords cutting into Magerøya Island, Norway. This fjord is sometimes used as a refuge for boats heading into the Arctic.
