The entrance to the trail is well indicated with a sign located in front of the Lago Gutiérrez Ranger Section. You have to pay close attention to the signs and not leave the path.
The road is wide and begins with a very slight slope bordering the Pescadero Stream and in the first meters it is crossed by a bike lane.
It is a trail that in the first part is self-guided and has informative posters about the Patagonian Andean forest and its natural processes. Arriving at a detour, this one indicates to continue to the left (the one on the right leads to the Cascada de los Duendes), and the next detour indicates to the right (the one on the left leads to Playa Muñoz and Refugio Emilio Frey). This last part is quite steep. You have to pay attention to the roots so as not to stumble.
The viewpoint offers a panoramic view of Lake Gutiérrez and the surrounding hills.
You return along the same path, paying attention at the crossroads so as not to get lost.

Genovesa Island, its sandy coral beach with a great viewpoint of the bay, is one of the Galapagos’ jewels. It is also known as the “Bird Island“ offering the opportunity to enjoy the most representative birds of Galapagos as: Puffball–chicks, white both yellow–crowned and lava herons, Red footed boobies contrasting with the Nazca booby and also the Swallow–tailed gulls, the only nocturnal gulls in the world that will be nesting at the cliff’s edge.
You can climb up to a viewpoint that overlooks Moon Valley. The land is carpeted with pinnacles, densely packed into a relatively small area, urban development is encroaching on this impressive space, the city of La Paz is nearby. May be worth to have a look?

You can view Delicate Arch from upper viewing point, which is about a half mile hike up a hill. Well worth the climb, especially if you're unable to make it up to Delicate Arch itself. The arch is one of the main and most popular of the attractions at this park. The rangers allow you to walk onto the slickrock as long as you do not walk on non-rock surfaces. Sun down time, ended onto a plateau where the arch appeared almost like a vision on top of the cliffs, the deep cliffs under my foot…
I posted a photo yesterday, this one is in a bit different view, you can see the tiny Delicate Arch far away in the meddle of the photo… Most people ended up at viewpoint, could not see this view, it took a bit effort to climb to this location, few people did it, you can see three people sitting and waiting for the sunset on the edge of cliffs... Not long after taking this photo, it started raining, no real sunset...
guillemots
Another photo from my Scotland trip. This photo was taken on the east side of Scotland at Fowlsheugh Cliffs Viewpoint, where thousands of guillemots, gulls, razorbills and puffins breed on the cliffs.
The view from the top of Quercus Rock is awesome as you look straight down Howe Sound with mountains on either side of you. From this viewpoint, we have a 180-degree lookout over Howe Sound. We can also see Anvil Island in the distance directly to the south, and the mountain ranges on both sides of Howe Sound. And if you look carefully down below, you’ll see cars zooming around a corner of the Sea to Sky Highway. We see the road on another photo I shared last week. today i just want to show you a pic with a bench !!! Enjoy!

The snow made it possible to capture one of my favorite trees (no. 3) from a different viewpoint. The result looks quite good to me.

Moving on to an internationally well known viewpoint of Meteora I was more than happy to stand alone on it. This actual spot used to be crowded with dozens of tourists in the past, prior to the COVID 19 restrictions. Not that day.
I took my time to leisurerly admire the scenery, set up my tripod and work on the conposition of the frame you see in front of you.
Location: Meteora, Hellas. Rousanou monastery.

I recently discovered, after living in Tsawassen for 32 years, a viewpoint that I had never been on. Its behind my local library that I visit often, just goes to show you that we only see what we want to see. I was thrilled because I love photographing parking lots and the best way to do that is from a high point. Afterwards I went into the library to warm up because it was sooo cold :)
Panoramic viewpoint at White Cross, near Sidmouth.
Very strong and cold wind blowing up the hill, could hardly keep the camera steady.
From this tower you have an amazing view on the "Prunje".
Wonderful man-made new wet nature.
