View to Portrush and the White Rocks Beach
The wind has blown so strong that he would have thrown me almost off the cliff. It was not possible for me to take several photos.
Back in the early days of Bellingham this viewpoint was the one that was visited by everyone who had a car. I imagine back then the trees weren't nearly so tall for even standing at the top of a tower doesn't give uninterrupted views any longer
This is a panorama made up of five simple shots. Hugin with a Triplane projection (parameter=53) was used to build the panorama. Darktable was used for the edition. You can read additional technical information in my profile (about section).
"It is a good viewpoint to see the world as a dream. When you have something like a nightmare, you will wake up and tell yourself that it was only a dream. It is said that the world we live in is not a bit different from this."

This the the Chilean Viewpoint building in Benmore Gardens which I was lucky enough to catch during a colourful sunset.
A view from Barne's Gap in the Sperrins, Northern Ireland.
An account of my weekend in the Sperrins:
Taken from the Rohrhardsberg (1163m), this photo shows some of the wildflower meadows, and the "Schänzlehof", the still operational farmhouse in the mid of the Black Forest with the highest altitude.
You can also see the winding road that we followed as part of the walking trail (called "U(h)rwaldpfad").

Bobbejaankrans viewpoint. It's at the end of the winter season in the Krugerpark and the Timbavati river at the foot of the hill stands almost dry.
Walking around the 'path' on the roof of the Metropol Parasol in Seville, popularly known as the Setas de Sevilla ("Mushrooms of Seville")
Four specially commissioned sculptural seats by John Kennedy on the infamous A939 Lecht Road which sits at 637m above sea level offers spectacular views towards Corgarff Castle. Corgarff Castle was originally built in 1550 by the Forbes clan and has been a site of great significance for several tumultuous events throughout its history. Though small in scale, the white-harled Castle stands in stark isolation from its surroundings and has a monumental and evocative presence in an otherwise almost uninhabited landscape.
The Watchers installation has a significant relationship with the Castle, which was already established by the existing standing stone sculpture `A Moment in Time` by Louise Gardiner which was designed to frame telescopic views of the Castle. The Watchers adds some new but similar formed cowels clustered on the hillside close to the existing standing stone.
These contain seating and provide hooded shelters for individuals in a wind and snow-swept environment.
Each cowl is formed like origami from folded sheets of steel.
As a group, the cowls contribute to the evocative atmosphere of the site.
The abstract nature of these enveloping cowls invites various interpretation as to what they might be: a henge, a herd on a hillside, armoured figures, helmets, a group of martial figures, tents, crows, ruins, standing stones or whisky stills....
Teamwork..............Dave Constable had his shots in the bag and was giving out welcome black coffee (thanks Dave) , an anonymous lady and her headlights on foreground lighting, me on the timer and a fieldmouse at my feet, checking composition. We had a great time at Reculver............:-) The red lights on the horizon are warning lights of the local windfarm.
With the Isle of Portland in the distance, this view is taken between Lulworth and Durdle Door, a few miles further east than some of my previous photos across Weymouth Bay.
At the Suidhe Viewpoint on the B862, looking north over Strath Errick, the road meanders for miles with incredible views over the Scottish Highlands.
Canadian Rocky Mountains, Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
The Viewpoint is along the Icefields Parkway, about 5 km south of Abathasca Falls. It overlooks the Athabasca River & among other peaks, Mount Fryatt. We did not see any goats when we visited this site one afternoon in August.

Carreg Cennen Castle, Brecon Beacons National Park, Powys, Wales, UK
Carreg Cennen Castle (Welsh: Castell Carreg Cennen meaning castle (on the) rock (above the) Cennen) is a castle near the River Cennen, in the village of Trap, four miles south of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The castle is within the Brecon Beacons National Park, and its location has been described as spectacular, due to its position above a limestone precipice. It has been in a ruinous state since 1462 and is now in the care of Cadw, the Welsh Government historic environment service.

Punkt widokowy nazywany "Skywalk Biokovo".
Biokovo – masyw górski, położony w środkowej części wybrzeża dalmatyńskiego, o długości 36 km i szerokości 9,5 km. Największy i najwyższy masyw w Dalmacji. Biokovo powstało w kredzie (65 milionów lat temu), podczas zderzenia afrykańskiej płyty tektonicznej z europejską. Jako część Masywu Dynarskiego tworzą go przeważnie eoceńskie pokłady i mezozoiczne skały osadowe.
