Dutch actor Willem Nijholt (1934) is also a dancer and singer. His versatility led him to work in musicals, TV shows, stage plays, cabaret and several films. In recent years he has become known as a TV juror and author.
Willem Adrianus Nijholt was born in Gombong, Kedoe, the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) in 1934. He was the son of Jan Nijholt, a KNIL instructor, and Willemina Sophia Maria Arntz. At age eight he ended up in a Japanese POW camp, which left a deep scar for the rest of his life. At fourteen, he saw his father again, who was sent to work on the Burma Railway by the Japanese. After World War II, the family left the Dutch East Indies and settled in Millingen, the birthplace of his mother. Nijholt attended temporarily HBS (Higher Civic School) in Nijmegen, was briefly in the Navy and went to study at the school for dramatic arts in Amsterdam at age 23. His ill mother died in 1959, before she could see him performing on stage. He fell in love with the author Gerard Reve, who rejected him, but in 1962 he played a role in Reve’s play Commissaris Fennedy/ Commissioner Fennedy. His letters to Reve are published in the book Met Niets Begonnen (Started With Nothing). He made his screen debut in the TV film De huzaren/The Hussars (Walter van der Kamp, 1960). In 1964 he performed the role of Hoofd Piet (Head Pete) once during the national arrival of Sinterklaas in Hoorn. In 1968 he appeared in the popular satirical TV Show Hadimassa. He became very popular among children with his part in the innovative TV show Oebele (Bram van Erkel, 1968-1972) with Wieteke van Dort. He made his film debut in Daniel (Erik Terpstra, 1971) with Peter Schaapman.
In the 1970s, Willem Nijholt had his definitive breakthrough. On stage he worked with Wim Sonneveld in a successful cabaret show in 1971. In 1974 he played Theo Oudijck in the popular TV series De stille kracht/The Silent Force (Walter van der Kamp, 1974), with Pleuni Touw. Their nude scene was a big sensation. He also played Ben van Rooyen in the youth series De Kris Pusaka/The Kris Pusaka (Bram van Erkel, 1977). Nijholt starred in several stage musicals, including Wat een planeet (What a planet; 1973) and Foxtrot (1977), written by Annie MG Schmidt. In 1977 he was awarded the Johan Kaartprijs (Johan Kaart Award). In 1981 he played a voice teacher in the play Children of a Lesser God. He was asked to play this role also in London, but he did not accept the offer. He played roles in Dutch films like the box office hit Ciske de Rat (Guido Pieters, 1984) with Danny de Munk, and Havinck (Frans Weisz, 1987) in which he played the title character. Chip Douglas at IMDb: “Nijholt, at age 50, was ten years too old. But director Frans Weisz, screen testing countless leading men opposite (debutant Anne Martien) Lousberg, still wanted Nijholt to read with her, because he had a feeling Willem could bring out the best in Anne Martien. The young actress obviously felt the same way, because she decided there and then that Nijholt was the one to play her father. He ended up winning the coveted 'Golden Calf' award (the Dutch equivalent of the Academy Award) for his efforts.” In 1989 he played the lead role in the short film Alaska, Mike van Diem’s graduation film at the Dutch Film and Television Academy. The film won a Golden Calf and a Student Academy Award. In 1989, Nijholt played the Master of Ceremonies in the musical Cabaret (1989). That year, he received from Guido de Moor the prestigious Paul Steenbergen medal, which he passed on in 2002 to actor Pierre Bokma.
Willem Nijholt played part in the acclaimed TV series Bij nader inzien/On closer inspection (Frans Weisz, 1991) and Op afbetaling (Frans Weisz, 1993) with Renée Soutendijk. He also continued to appear regularly in Dutch films. He played Etienne in the Harry Mulisch adaptation Hoogste Tijd/The Last Call (Frans Weisz, 1995) starring Rijk de Gooijer. He appeared with Helmut Berger and Udo Kier in Unter den Palmen (Miriam Kruishoop, 1999) and reunited with Pleuni Touw in De vriendschap/The friendship (Nouchka van Brakel, 2001). He appeared in several family films, including Pietje Bell/Peter Bell (Maria Peters, 2002), Pietje Bell 2: De Jacht op de Tsarenkroon/Peter Bell II: The Hunt for the Czar Crown (Maria Peters, 2003) and De Griezelbus/The Horror Bus (Pieter Kuijpers, 2005). Nijholt enjoyed a massive success when he played the controller in the Dutch edition of the stage musical Miss Saigon (1996). Another great musical role was Fagin in Oliver! (1999-2000). In 2002 he retired from the musical and in 2004 he played his last stage role. In 1999 Willem Nijholt was appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau. In the television talent show Op zoek naar ... (2007-2011; Looking for Evita, Looking for Joseph, Looking for Mary Poppins and Looking for Zorro), Nijholt was the juror. Since 2011 he is a Knight in the Order of the Netherlands Lion. His most recent screen role was in the TV crime series Penoza II (Diederik Van Rooijen, 2012-2013), starring Monic Hendrickx.

This photo shows some of the many ways in which stages can be used. They can be built as low as 3 inches and up to ten feet high and beyond.
The multi-level feature allows stages to be used as bleachers.
The angled stage makes possible 45 degree catwalks. An "X" can be created which would attach to an existing stage. Models/Actors could then move from the main stage out into the audience area and back.
Auditorium stage too small for a large performance? This type of stage can be built to any height so it will match the existing stage...problem solved ! It can even be built over auditorium seating.

The B61 is a versatile strategic and tactical weapon that can be carried fighter jets, the B-52 on some Stratofortress, and the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. This weapon can be dropped at high speeds from altitudes as low as feet. It can be dropped free-fall or deployed with a parachute and can be detonated in the air or on the ground.
The most recent modification, the B61-11, is designed to penetrate the earth and destroy underground targets. It officially entered the nation's stockpile in 2001 and was the first modification of a bomb to do so without a nuclear test.
Components and subsystems of the B61 have been used as building blocks for other weapons, reducing their development time and cost.
The red saddlebags normally contain the tools and cables necessary to load the bomb onto an aircraft and prepare the B61 for a mission. The bomb casing shown here was assembled with parts from several bombs used for training purposes.

The U.S. Marshals Service held its 37th Director’s Honorary Awards Ceremony in the Great Hall of the Robert F. Kennedy Justice Building in Washington Nov. 1, presenting awards in 16 categories to 423 individuals and groups who distinguished themselves in a variety of ways during the past year.
In his keynote address, the AG said, praised the agency and its people. “I have been all around the world, and I firmly believe that no nation has a finer group of law officers than the United States of America … and of all of our law enforcement agencies, the Marshals are the most versatile and the oldest federal agency in American law enforcement.
“Yours is a storied law enforcement agency—but let’s remember something. The historic badge alone is not magic. The reason the Marshals Service has been so effective is you—the people who step forward to serve.
“Nearly 3,800 Deputy U.S. Marshals and over 1,400 administrative staff, do exemplary work every day, and you—our award winners—are the best of the best. This Department is proud of you. The President is proud of you. And this nation is proud of you.
“And so I want to thank you all for the exemplary service that we are honoring today. Know this: you have our thanks and we have your back.”
The AG departed after his remarks, but the DAG remained to present the Robert Forsyth Valor Award to this year’s four recipients.

Versatile vessels capable of short distance space travel, Ornithopters were mainly used for surface travel. Usually equipped with shields, the 'Thopters of Arrakis were unprotected as shields had the unfortunate side effect of calling the Great Worms from hundreds of miles away.
The Atreides, like the Harkonan before them, used 'Thopters as scouts inside the great desert, ferrying light cargo and passengers and most importantly guarding harvesters by watching for wormsign.
Light and fast, 'Thopters could be put to excellent military use armed with lasguns and sometimes small missiles. While not warships they could provide quick and deadly air strikes against the enemy.
Desert Ornithopters are always equipped with spare stillsuits for their crew in the event of a crash, allowing those aboard the chance for survival in until rescued, though in the deep desert chances were slim to none.
Captured 'Thopters were pivotal to the Fremen uprising led by Paul Atreides in 10,193.

Motormaster, a black Kenworth K100 Aerodyne sleeper truck pulling a long, dark-silver trailer, is a special transformer toy for his time. He is the leader of the Stunticons and not only transforms from a truck to a robot but can also transform into a battlestation and serves as the core of Menasor, the Stunticons' combiner toy. The engineering behind this toy was phenomenal, and yet this was supposed to be just the beginning of a more ambitious toyline. Along with several other toys (such as Metroplex and the Aerialbots), the Stunticons were designed to merge into a transforming city which would consist of interchangable components. This idea, however, was never marketed or used in The Transformers TV show.

Ragnar fighting a Lenfel
War spread rapidly through Roawia, Lucius, having received word early of the order of Areani's assassination of the king, and smelling war on the wind, Lucius and his men set forth to there target, the strategic Garheim watchtower on the tip of Lenfald and base of Garheim. Controlling this post would allow the Loreesi to dominate land trade from Garheim and Lenfald. Lucius understanding the extreme importance of this mission, sets off quickly. The Loreesi much through the deserts of Loreos in good spirit, but when they arrive at the Lenfel borders, the morale quickly drops, elven raids are a constant threat, Darting from tree to tree, and peppering the spearmen and horsemen with arrows, and stealing supplies and horses while the Loreesi camp. By the time they reach the middle of Lenfel, they've lost a 4th of there men. With supplies and morale running low, Lucius knowns he needs more men and supplies. Now in Garheim, Lucius travels to the small village of fearichen, close to the watchtower. lucius slips on a peasant disguise while his men wait around the village for the word to step in. As lucius walks the streets looking for supplies for his army, Lucius hears cheering and quickly rounds a corner, A large makeshift stage was set up on the middle of a street, a tall beast of a men wearing the heraldry of a war galley, and 10 or so fully armed men were behind him, they were garheim, carrying huge axes, wearing long beards, and mail or no shirt at all. He preached his words with a strong and determined voice.
"Fellow Garheim! listen to me! your fathers, your brothers, your sons, they rally under a false banner! the banner of a fraud! A spineless Jelly Fish! He let Roawia fall into this state of war, in which your family will die for, not his! He does not fight for his people and instead gets fat off of wine and cheese!
He does not lead your families to battle! Instead he lets his ignorant generals lead his men to battle! They are not true garheim! They have no beards, they equip themselves with the fancy weapons of the South instead of the traditional war axe, They wear not the war paint of our ancestors but the plate armor from the South! These are not true Garheim that you call your leaders! Rally! Rally to me! and I will ensure that all garheims live in peace, and in times of war, fight and die by your side!"
The crowd startd to clear out but Lucius stood in the street thinking, he approached the claimant,
"You speak of bold goals" Lucius said
"I speak only what is true"
"This is a risky thing your doing, if the Garheim find you, you're dead."
"I can fight" He answered.
"What's your name?" Lucius inquired.
"Ragnar the far seeker."
"Well Ragnar, I have a proposition for you."
He unsheathed his blade, the shining metal glittered in the sun, He turned it towards Ragnar so he could examine it.
"Loreesi Steel." he answered
"Right, I am Lucius of Vandaar general of Loreos."
He raised an eyebrow.
"What is your proposal?"
"I need your help."
"With?" Ragnar answered
"We were sent here to seize a watchtower from Garheim control."
"And what's in it for me?" Ragnar inquired
"Words are great, but action is better. If you can prove to the Garheim people that you are strong enough to defeat the Garheim in battle, more men would be willing to join a winning cause."
"How about aid from Loreos?"
"We will fight together now, but this doesn't mean if we face each other on the battle field in the future Loreos will have mercy on you."
Ragnar nodded
" I must make the same promise, if you are a danger to my followers don't expect mercy."
"What about Loreos supporting my cause?"
"That would not be in our best political interest, everyone already thinks were the aggressor, so taking the throne of Garheim might ruin all chances of peace in this kingdom."
Ragnar stuck out his hand
"We have a deal."
Lucius shook his hand.
"Bring some supplies. We leave at midnight."
That night the Loreesi and Garheim rebels march out until the watchtower was in sight.
It stood 50 feet tall, a huge stained glass window, and had multiple archers patrolling the battlements.
"You remember the plan?" Lucius asked.
"Yes" Ragnar answered.
Ragnar knew the geography of this area well, he knew there was a small mountain pass that he and his men could carry the ladder up, and assault the tower from behind. Him and his men quickly started towards it.
Lucius knew it was going to be a while before Ragnar emerged from behind the tower, but he had faith in him.
"Testudo!" Lucius called.
The Loreesi spearmen locked there shield in Testudo formation to block arrows.
"Henrik!" Lucius called to the commander of the cavalry force.
"Wait here, the horsemen won't do any good in this terrain."
Henrik nodded.
The spearmen advanced in test do as the Garheim infantry climbed down from the cliff and prepared to assault. When 30 feet away, Lucius called out
"Break Testudo! Charge!"
The spearmen and Garheim crashed together the fighting was intense. blood covered the little snow that was still on the ground from a snow that fell a few days ago, and in the fall brisk temperatures most had melted. Then a turn in the battle, one by one the Loreesi were cut down, the Garheim had an advantage. Suddenly over the horizon came Henrik's heavy cavalry, having dismounted the charged into the garheim warriors. The loreesi warrior is a versatile one, fighting just as easily on foot as on a horse. the Garheim warriors were slowly pushed agains the cliff, and with no where to run, were slaughtered.
Then from above the cliff there was a shrill war cry the Garheim rebels carrying the ladders, Quickly cut down the Lenfel defenders, who were left on the cliff to defend the tower, they propped the ladders against the tower wall and scaled it, killing everyone in the tower. They Apperaed on the top screaming and cheering, the battle was won.

This period of introspection led to a deeper understanding of himself and his place in the universe.
Guided by the wisdom of Michelle, a local psychic, Raphaël made the courageous decision to embrace his gift of mediumship and share it with the world. This pivotal moment marked a new chapter in his career, as he sought to integrate spirituality into his artistic expression.

A gift from SIL's mother. This machine has been well used and loved. The cams for decorative zigzag stitches will make this machine a very versatile member of the fleet.
This extremely versatile medium bomber was built by North American Aviation at their Kansas City, KS, plant. This aircraft is named in honor of Brig. Gen. William "Billy" Mitchell, who pioneered the concept of strategic aerial bombardment.
In April of 1942, Lt. Col. James H. "Jimmy" Doolittle, later Lt. General, led one of the most daring missions of the war flying the B-25. Only five months after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Lt. Col. Doolittle led 16 B-25 "Mitchell" bombers off the deck of the U. S. S. Hornet. The B-25s bombed Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, and Nagoya. Lt. Col. Doolittle's "Tokyo Raiders" were successful in their mission.
The B-25 also served with distinction in North Africa, Italy, Europe, and the South Pacific.
The museum's B-25J, serial number 44-31032, was delivered to the Army Air Force in 1945 and put into storage until 1947. It was assigned to Vance AFB as a TB-25J and TB-25N for pilot training until retirement in 1958. The aircraft was then sold and registered as N3174AG. It participated in the 1970 Paramount Pictures release, "Catch - 22" and 44-31032 appeared in the film with the nose art of "Free, Fast and Ready".
The museum received the aircraft by truck in 1982. It was restored in 1998, wearing colors of the 42nd Bomb Group, 13th Air Force, and named "Problem Child". This aircraft is on loan from the USAF.

All the versatility of the C-Series cordless drill is combined with a robust design that features a long-lasting, energy efficient brushless motor, compact transmission, and electronic health monitoring. Brushless motors offer significant advantages over motors with brushes, including higher efficiency and reliability, reduced noise, and longer service life to name a few. This helps the C-Series cordless drill outperform other drills that would otherwise be in the same class. Nearly all of Festool's power tools feature intelligent electronic monitoring and feedback which makes the tool smarter. In the case of the C-Series, this technology protects the motor from overload, provides an electronic (rather than mechanical) clutch feature, and an intelligent drill mode with an electronic clutch override, as well as other innovative features.
