Some of the fabulous things my Grandmother has made with Polymer Clay. I occasionally get goodie boxes filled with amazing things.....what I have is just the tip of the iceberg! LOL She is now 78 years old. My Mother has some of Grandmother's earlier work hoarded and won't share! : D You can see her work all throughout my photos...whether it is mushrooms, bugs, animals, birds and flowers in my Fairy woodland photos...or...buttons, charms and accents on my fiber art pieces.

a giant box of cherry tomatoes and bittermelon (ampalaya) was deposited at my doorstep the other day.
A friend grew these beautiful peppers and gave them to me for canning but they were just too pretty to eat.
With winters ringing in, soups are going to be a staple in my house. To make the base of my soups easily accessible, I make a big batch of stock and keep using it for my recipes. Here is how to make Best Vegetable Stock which is made by boiling a motley of veggies like celery, carrots, spring onion greens, garlic, capsicum et al in water along with olive oil and a few spices.
Well, I know tortillas are Spanish thing and tzatziki is a Greek thing, but it somehow seemed like a good idea to me to combine it. So I gave it a try. And it was quite good ;)

The boyfriend is drying chili peppers in our kitchen window: very festive! I took about a million shots of them before I got the fill flash and color settings right. It was hard to get anything except a silhouette of chili peppers. Not interesting.
Due to the laziness these days, this is another archival photos from Malaysia,2011. I hope u all like it.
There were peas in our vegetable box this week, yum! Strangely, I don't like fresh peas cooked, just straight out of the pod.
