The Van Gogh park in Holambra is a lovely place. The park is named after the painter and has replicas of some of his paintings exposed.
There's also some rabbits and chickens there, walking around freely.

We thought we would use the awning a lot....and did one our first two trips; but those trips were the rarity where we stayed in place for 3 days. Usually we are constantly on the move and thusly the awning hasn't gotten a lot of use.
That's OK. It is there if/when desired and is 'in-line' with the van for fuel economy and is really lightweight chiefly because all deployment is by hand.

Vincent a peint ici deux types de raisins aux couleurs contrastées : bleu contre jaune et vert contre rouge. Il testait souvent ses combinaisons de couleurs avant de peindre, avec des fils de laine aux nuances diverses conservés en boule dans une boîte de laque rouge (cf. musée Van Gogh d'Amsterdam).
