A number of vehicles have recently been withdrawn by Padbus, resulting in some new additions to the Preservation Partnership collection. Number 16 (OB52 AAL) is a Mercedes Vito service van, converted from the Cararama minibus by filling in the rear windows, and had a sister minibus, 17 (OB52 AAM), delivered at the same time. It was replaced in the Padbus fleet by a new Ford Transit and is now used by the Partnership as a general-purpose support vehicle.
Paintings with details . Collections in Switzerland, USA and UK.
Since September 2017, I have been posting images that were taken in Art Galleries. Right now I’m building up some new works of my own , but I’m not posting these until I’m ready. In the meantime I hope that you enjoy these images that I find so inspiring.
Seems like a pretty good mobile advertisement, it certainly got my attention. Parked at the bottom of the road I used to live on which I was passing today. There was a time not too long ago where these old vans were almost common in this area. There was a (now sadly closed) well known 2cv specialist who used an incredibly rough example as a parts hauler/ mobile advert, along with a handful of other small businesses. I've heard these are quite horrendous to actually drive so no doubt after the novelty has worn off they are punted on pretty quickly!
Not part of the display, but I don't see many of these anymore. Seen with the custom cars at Home Depot 7-24-10.
