I zoomed in on a canvas painting in my dining room. It's a picture of a sunset and palm trees in the Dominican Republic. This is close up of one of the branches.

January 15, 2020 - This afternoon we have free time to explore the city of Buenos Aires on our own. I am walking with Beti, Darlene, Nancy and Ragnhild to see the El Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore which is located in the former El Grand Spendid theatre which dates from 1919.
Geometric trees rise towards a bright yellow sky, where swallows fly beneath a glowing sun. The composition combines abstract shapes and vibrant colours to create a dynamic natural scene.
On Friday January 21st, and early Saturday January 22nd, my wife and I experienced a winter storm. We woke up to about 2 inches of snow accumulation this morning.
Sunset over the field at the radio station where I work. I snapped the picture before leaving work to spend the evening with my wife.
As the sun was setting, we had rain clouds moving into our area. It didn't rain much, but we did get some precipitation. The area where my wife and I reside are currently experiencing near drought like conditions.
A friend showed me a wood duck nesting site. Giant tree with a hollow part. I would never have seen it on my own. With this uncropped view, can you spot the wood duck?

After a severe thunderstorm went through we had an interesting sky. After the rain my wife and our dog were outside. I was inside and she sent me a text that there was a rainbow. The sky opposite the rainbow was a bright yellow sky. I snapped this picture after the storm.
What has made the tiny spotted owlets (Athene brama) very successful survivors is that they are keen observers!
Even while resting in their tree hole during the day, any commotion outside the nest would instantly draw a little face out of the hole with curious eyes peering and scrutinizing the surroundings.
Not far from where my wife and I reside there is a wooded area. I snapped a few pictures of the autumn foliage in that patch of woods.
Photo of the day December 01, 2022 - Autumn foliage on a neighbor's tree, as seen from the property where my wife and I live.
Photo of the day October 22, 2021 - Cotton candy sky as I was leaving work to spend the evening with my wife.
At the end of our street is a field with a wooded area on two sides of the field. I snapped this picture of the trees this evening while taking a walk with my wife.
February 23, 2020 - Frozen camellias. A majority of the blossoms on the camellia tree were frozen and are going by due to temperatures in the 20's at night the past couple of nights. The tree is located on the edge of the property that my wife and I own.
