Took this shot while hiking with Ms. Krach in Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. She kept complaining every time I stopped to shoot, then would say that is a cool shot ... I think she was thinking that is some cool sh!t ;)
The late day lighting and sparse clouds and blue sky above was very pretty to me ...

I'm thrilled by how far one can see nowadays in Tübingen, germany.
Some morning-sun in three exposures. Added some more layers with PS ;) Topaz treatments.
Between Tübingen and Pfrondorf.
Nikkor 80-200 at 80mm.

Looking back through some shots and this stood out from last year.
It's a half dead tree in Bushy park, but the other half of it keeps going!
The original, taken in June, has vivid blue and green. But I liked the mono version more, it has a little more texture for me.
Nothing to do with winter or snow right now, I just liked it.
