A leaf floats gently on the shimmering surface of the water in the lower bowl of a fountain in Munn Park, Lakeland. Amidst the difficult times so many of us find ourselves in, I offer this moment of peace and tranquility with the prayer that some of this spirit can find its way into all of our lives and give each of us rest.
This is especially for you, my very dear friend ....
Happy Week-End to all!!
So I have been redecorating my bedroom. I wanted a nice and light mood to it. Purchased some candles and decor to give it a spa like feeling. Wishing you all a tranquil day.

Morning light shines through colorful stained glass windows inside main prayer hall of Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, also known as the Pink mosque, situated in Shiraz, the capital of Fars province of Iran.
Nasir al-Mulk mosque was built during the Qajar era, between 1876 to 1888, by the order of Mirzā Hasan Ali (Nasir ol Molk), a Qajar ruler. It includes extensive colored glass in its facade, and displays other traditional elements such as the Panj Kāse ("five concaved") design.

So here is the first photo post from our trip out to Missouri. This was shot just outside Table Rock which is go figure on Table Rock Lake. The place is called Dogwood Canyon and is a wonderful place to spend the day. While the family was a little disappointed about the drizzly, cloudy gloomy weather it made for perfect light to shoot this wonderful stream that flows through the canyon. The clouds cut out all the harsh shadows and slowed my shutter speed to just the right speed without having to even use a filter. The wet weather also created some cool fog that would rise off the water. This shot was taken around 2PM which if sunny, would have made this an impossible capture. Anyways I filled up an entire memory card here and wish we could have stayed longer. We only made it about 1 mile along the 7 mile trail. There is so much more to tell about this place but I think I will hold some back for what I think may be quite a few more post from here.

A visit to the town 20 minutes of driving away from my hometown last week.
This is a view from the way down from Ottoman fortress to the downtown of Gradacac. It was wonderful afternoon as you can see it....

The image depicts a patterned cat in repose against a tree trunk, its coat a tapestry of brown and black shades. Surrounded by the lush green of the grass, the cat embodies the tranquility of nature and the quiet companionship animals offer. It’s a serene scene that captures the harmonious blend of domestic life and natural beauty.

The sound of babbling brooks and the sound of children playing are the sweetest sounds ever for me. Fortunately I am party to both now! :) Captured this beauty in South Barrule plantation last night.
Shot taken with Canon EOS 5DII, 17-40 L@17mm, f/7.1, Exposure- 10 seconds. Used a B+W CPL.

There are few more relaxing and cozy things that these moments in the home surrounded with the family, with good people, after eating, chatting, sharing good moments and recollections. A coffee. A classic movie in the TV. Tranquility. Human heat.
And it is surprising that in the memory of the recent humanity (at least of the one that can allow it them), this contradictory device, which provokes loves and hatreds, which it attracts us and it us repels simultaneously, that is the television, has occupied already an unremovable, immutable place, as if he was one more member of the family. Many of the domestic images that I have (and I believe that great more people also), have of bottom some television’s series, some sticky melody, some indelible image.
That is this, a small honoring to these domestic moments with television …
(And by the way, let's take advantage of this as a small game: does someone know what movie is the one that they were emitting by television in the moment of the photo? ;-) )

This is an alternative take on the horses in the mist and as it turns out a much more popular one. :)
After driving for hours, the sunset looked pretty amazing but we were surrounded by trees so we ventured off the motorway and found this TINY little village (as in so tiny it had no shops) and this pier at the back of one of the dwellings. It was the perfect place to hang out and take a break.

The comforting sounds of tranquility, within the wind of chaos~
So peaceful and tranquil are the mornings before the world is awake.
thank you Tanya(scrapbuddy2) for the texture
Detalles...
Vosotros me tendréis a mí.
A J@&M@.
En la foto, Irene... esperando el momento.
