This is the brand new pier after the old one was totally destroyed by Hurricane Nicholas and past storms.

The second morning light on Sand lake wasn't as colorful as the first but was still worth losing some sleep over.

I was given perfectly still waters which made for some nice reflections.

Ocean waves wash away troubles as another day comes to a glorious finale

I get a deep sense of inner peace when I see a beautiful bird such as this roseate spoonbill feeding and preening in a glassy surfaced lagoon, bathed in early morning light.
