McWay Waterfall along the Pacific Coast Highway in Big Sur, CA.

I was extremely lucky to get a snow day today (technically I couldn't get into work so had to take it as a holiday) due to heavy snowfall overnight. I had a fantastic day shooting and the only thing that my heart longed for was my beautiful wife, who had to go into work.

This shot captured my heart, soft and melted in the middle and a hard exterior, frozen and cold.

I now have a facebook page, all likes are very much welcome

Certainly not the most exciting photograph of a Willet... still something about it seemed rather tranquil and peaceful to me.

Woods are the lungs of our planet they breathe new life into our world ..... so why not breathe fresh air into your world and have a walk in the woods it's such a tranquil place to go for a stroll and it will leave you feeling totally refreshed :)

The last one from the lighthouse series. Processed with the new HDR Efex 2

It's always nice getting to go outside and take pictures. I'm really happy with how this shot came out and can truly say I'm getting better at editing and such.

One of my favorite shots from the German Alpines. I find it very calming and the centered composition is really working well. I don't usually position a subject like this, but rules are to be broken sometimes, aren't they? ;)

Sat morn on the St.Croix River near Hudson Wisconsin.

mist rises from the river along with the sun.

this is where we stayed last weekend, our boat is tied to the "Tranquilizer" houseboat.

Shot for Week 35 of my "52 of Twenty Eleven" flickr group given the theme "Stairs".

This is an HDR of a very tranquil spot on the grounds of the historic Dodge Estate at Meadowbrook.

Volunteers maintain the grounds here, along with all the plants and flowers around the rest of mansion. They do such a great job of keeping the place beautiful year round, making it a great place for photographers like me to visit.

Day is done ... the sun has gently slipped below the horizon ... tranquility washes the landscape.

Beautiful, radiant January sunset at Swami's beach, Encinitas, CA.

Tranquility Park in downtown Houston, Texas opened to visitors in 1979 was dedicated on the 10th anniversary of the moon landing. It was designed by Charles Tapley.

A very peaceful moment in Lake Tahoe. The waters were very quiet and the air quite still, making the clouds appear as if they were not moving at all. Tranquil...

This image was shot near Cave Rock at a spot that I call "Rock Beach."
