I know exactly what I want. Everything. Calm, peace, tranquility,
freedom, fun, happiness. If I could make all that one word, I would - a
many-syllabled word.

Thanks in advance for the faves. I'm still learning. Constructive criticism and tips are always welcome.
This was taken from the garden pond at the house where I grew up in Paniqui, Tarlac. Lots of fond memories there.

A Mirror Morning of Henningsvær marina, Lofoten Islands, Norway, where colorful boats, crisp white houses, and rugged Lofoten peaks reflect perfectly on the still, glass-smooth water.

This is another photo of Lake Ginninderra and I have titled it tranquility because this is the perfect description for it. When you walk around the lake its like your in another world where only peace and nature resides. People use the area for a variety of reasons. Picnics, swimming, relaxing, BBQ's and exercise. Even though at times there are a lot of people its still very peaceful. Also in the middle of the lake there is a little island filled with trees for the birds. This is a well thought out man made lake because they have considered everyone, humans and wildlife.
Nestled at the edge of the arid Great Basin and the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains in California, Mono Lake is an ancient saline lake that covers over 70 square miles and supports a unique and productive ecosystem. The lake has no fish; instead it is home to trillions of brine shrimp and alkali flies.
Tranquility - Brainard Lake. Brainard lake at 10k Ft elevation in Boulder, CO. The Brainard Lake Recreation Area is set in a glacially-carved valley. The high peaks of the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area loom to the west.

This photograph was taken during a walk along the river Trent in Nottinghamshire. You can't beat an afternoon wander down a British river during the summer bloom.
The ketch 'Island Roamer' anchored in tranquil waters at Morseby Camp Recreation Site, Morseby Island, Haida Gwaii, BC. I liked how the small ripples in the water added an interesting texture to the reflections in this near monochrome image.
As the sun sets on Lake Thingvellir, Iceland, Lady Aurora crawls out to bathe us with her beautiful lights. If there´s anything that sets the mind at ease, then that´s moments like these... =)

Only a 2 hr drive from the coast of Puerto Vallarta into the Sierra Madre mountains will take you back in time and to a much cooler climate. There in the center of a large valley, at 1275 m high you will arrive in a colorful colonial town called Mascota.
During the Spanish conquest it was called The Valley of Deer translated from its original Teco indian name Mascota.
